Did anybody watch this today? It was basically about the struggles of one guy to contain his gambling addiction, which has pretty bad consequences. It made me realise that there will be so many people in the UK/World who struggle with this addiction. I only wish i had the money to make it an addiction... only kidding. On a serious note (and something i had never thought of before) does anybody know how many people are 'helped' by GA? say in relation to AA (not the roadside recovery version!)
Didn't see it SB but I do have first hand experience of the perils of gambling addiction - I saw a good mate destroy his family and a big chunk of his life through it. He was one of the lucky ones, he managed to get 18 months in the rehab centre in Dudley but even after he was declared 'clean' he started punting again and was soon borrowing money and lying to everyone close to him again.....
