At the moment we just need to show were not being left behind on the transfer front but that's not to say signing anyone for the sake of it. <ok>

but why are we waiting on other teams loaning us players - we should give them the ultimatum of loan now or **** off - otherwise we'll be in deep **** trying to get a player with minutes left!!!

Isn't Simpson an attacking midfielder anyway or a midfielder turned forward so could play both positions so we'd have some versatility with him? <ok>

That's what I meant yesterday aldershot the bit about Kenny wanting somebody that fits the bill perfectly rather than taking a chance on someone as time is running out and now its only going to look like a panic measure whoever we get! <doh>

No just a striker. He played rw for us once or twice but was ****e. He's the quick kind of forward to get in behind a defence just hasn't seemed to find his feet yet.

By the way tigers are a million times harder than lions, lions are like little chavs who have to hunt in packs coz they're pussies and can't fight alone <ok>

Simpson isn't a midfielder, i wouldn't even call him a striker. Bench warmer is the best position. Can't score and can't pass. Just makes up the numbers, glad to get rid

Could be a good player, but hasn't had a chance really this season. For us he hasn't really being consistent enough to get a chance. He had a good year at QPR in this division but i don't think he really settled that well.

Simpson will be a good signing for your lot, he hasn't settled with us but is a bit of a goalpoacher when his confidence is up. I hope he does well for you if you get him as he is a good lad.

Is it fair to say that he made a mistake going up North as a born and bred londoner so perhaps he's missing his family & friends? <ok>

I will say that personally I rate him and hope if he does go it is only on loan and not for the 300k being banded around because I can see him kicking off his career with you lot and bagging a few, plus sods law he'll most likely score against us. What options do you have for him to play alongside?

Exactly, and he just had a baby as he signed. I've seen it mentioned on our board that Pearson doesn't rate him, personally I think he is a good player, definitely needs help with confidence though.
