I'm interested to see what other fans think of our midfielder? We think he is inconsistent but class on his day. I've heard other fans saying he is top 4 class.
Puts a performance in when he can be arsed and would move to a London club in a heartbeat to be nearer his mates along with most of the Newcastle squad.
He's got the attributes to be very good, but doesn't appear to have the right attitude. Plays better in bigger games, then can't be bothered when it's not on the telly.
.. he looked excellent against Spurs ... but was rather anonymous against us at your place ... not sure if that was partly because we don't give players much time on the ball ... he certainly kept finding space against Spurs and I thought he was your biggest threat on the day ... If he can perform consistently like he did against the Spuds then he would be some player ...
Very good on his day, looks half arsed most of the time though. That's the case with so many footballers that it's an insult to the fans!
He has made noises about being keen on a move to Arsenal. If he can perform consistently then I'd snap him up, but as mentioned there are some question marks about his attitude and commitment.
