Moussa Dembélé

Did anyone see his performance today? what a player he is for Fulham, he took Liverpool apart at times and his passing and movement were top class, I’m surprised none of the big clubs have gone in for him yet, id love to see him at Arsenal.

 

While he'd be good back up...I think we have the needed quality in our current team

 

Gervinho is going to the AFCON in January I think so we would need someone in that position and I would not want to rely on Arshavain for any length of time.

 

I think he has the ability to fight for a place in the team, he could play a similar role to Ramsey who I don’t think is ready to be a first team start for the whole season considering how inconsistent he at time. I rate the guy highly and think he would become a top player under Wenger. Look at our recent game against Fulham were he gave the likes of Song and Arteta a torrid time which is quite difficult to do considering he didn't have much support at times.

 

I'd have to disagree ive seen him play a number of times this season and he seems to get better every game, all players are different so you cant really compare him to N'Zogbia, I think part of the issue to do with consistency is related to the players around him, no disrespect to Fulham but I don’t think their midfield is the best technically and a number of times tonight I saw Demebele make fantastic through balls only for Zamora or Dempsey to screw it up. The way he play's suits Arsenal's style and I think he would be very good at Arsenal.

Agree with SamirNasri, Dembele to me flatters to deceive, he looks pretty on the ball but his passing isn't all that, hardly any end product of worth, don't see any real use for him in our team. We have Wilshere who is Dembele times 10. Rather see Coquelin play than have Dembele and that is no slight on Coquelin, I rate him highly !!

 

Wouldn't be anymore than back-up at Arsenal or any of the top 5. Good player though.

I know Dembele is the subject here but I truly don't get this Coquelin love-in that people seem to be getting. For me he's average and I think he'll be lucky if he ends up as a bottom 6 Premier league midfielder. Dembele I like as he's got skill, technical ability and shed loads of pace. As has been mentioned though this final ball leaves a lot to be desired. He was very good last night though.
