I read the entire "Henry letter," and I have to confess that I found it quite extraordinary. On the one hand, he is telling the Mousers that he wants 'Pool to win things, but on the other, he's admitting that they are not prepared to compete with other clubs to sign the players they need. It's all well and good saying "we won't waste money on expensive signings and silly wages," but that's what you have to do in order to have any chance of competing for a top 4 place - and Henry has said he wants "Pool to win the league, ffs!
That letter is nothing but smoke and mirrors, and I expect that the Mousers will lap it up for a little while, but there will come a point when the rebellion will break, and Henry will be forced to, firstly, sack Roy Rodgers,
and then to splash silly money on getting in the types of players that proper top 4 clubs are getting in.
