5 Chelsea players, and there the only side not to have been Euro champs with him? get rid rid of Lampard and replace him with Deco. Lampard has no technical skill. and get rid of Cole he's shocking, and one of the most overrated players ive ever seen and replace him with Chivu. Even Marcelo is better than Cole:biggrin:

Why is Drogba up front aswell, yet Eto is on the bench. Do you actually watch football? Ask any african Eto is the best player Africa have produced since the 90s. Drogba's had one or 2 good seasons domestically, but he's done **** all at European level:biggrin:

    Six <ok>

    Carvallho
    Cole
    Makele
    Lampard
    Robben
    Drogba

Although Carvallho could be from his Porto days? I think he is the player Chelsea miss most?

Drogba in his prime was unplayable. I think you're letting the fact he played for your rivals get in the way.

tbh Carvalho hit his peak with us and formed an unstoppable partnership with Terry, I'd have those two at the back simply because they were unstoppable.

    My team:

    Cech (pre-injury)

Ferreira (Porto and early Chelsea days)
    Terry
    Carvalho
    Zanetti

    Makelele
    Lampard
    Deco

    Robben
    Drogba
    Ronaldo

Oh and Juan could you not put stuff like this on the United board in future, has nothing to do with them and will only cause argument. <ok>

True, but so was Eto'o in his prime. And Eto'o's prime lasted a lot longer with a lot more goals and important games and big performances than Drogba imo.

As for being biased, damn man your team has nine Chelsea players in the first XI! There's loyalty and then there's Ferreira!! :D

Mourinho was most successful with Chelsea in my opinion, he won more trophies in Portugal but then again he had the best team by a country mile which doesn't have the competetivness that the English leagues have.

Going by this logic, I picked mostly Chelsea players. I believe we had the best squad in the world in 2005 and were extremely unlucky to have been knocked out of the CL that year.

Ferreira may be dogshit now, but so was Neville at the end of his career. Ferreira is a model professional and was the most consistant RB at that time. Only other I would've put there is Maicon.

Oh and it has 8 Chelsea players, Deco didn't play under Mourinho at Chelsea <ok>.

I picked Drogba because he's the best forward and he scored two goals against Barcelona in the Champions League and we won 3 league titles with him upfront. So yes I do watch football. And Drogba has won x2 African footballer of the year awards. Since 2004 Drogba has scored 7 goals in cup finals. Mourinho would not choose Eto'o over Drogba.

Lampard does have technique that's how he has 114 assists and how he scored his goal against Bayern Munich.

Come on, I think you United fans are letting your hatred for us and Drogba get in the way of how good he was. He may have had a shorter peak but Mourinho got Drogba when he was at his peak, he didn't get Eto'o at his <ok>

It's true that Eto'o had started to wane a bit when Mourinho had him, but I'd still take him over Drogba. He scores more, and is more adaptable in his style and better able to play with others. With Drogba, you have to use him as a target man and funnel your attacks through him or he just gets pissed off and whiny. Eto'o has also always been much more of a big game player, and not only in finals - he got racially abused a couple of seasons ago and responded by scoring a goal. Drogba is almost as likely to get himself sent off in a big game as he is to score or play a blinder.

It is close between the two, but I'd still have Eto'o as a first choice, with Drogba on the bench as a plan B. Although I will admit that is at least partly based on Eto'o's style of play as well as his superior skill.
