After watching todays game I feel very sad for Arsene. Today will have really hurt his reputation and hopefully his philosophy. I have supported him massively through the years keeping trust in him but I feel he has stuck to his guns for too long and he has been found out. He has been a great manager for the club but with this crop of players he has dug his hole too deep. But I also feel what are the board doing to help this? A lot of threads on here are putting the onus on Arsene to spend but look at the spuds and Harry barely knows anything with transfers... Where can he go from here? 3 days to buy players to improve the squad? Every club knows we need players massively and will charge $$$ for them. It's too late in the transfer window now. As soon as Fab left he should have seen it coming and then should of had 3+ transfers lined up and pushed with them. Preparation? I feel like Arsene has been reacting for the last year rather then being proactive. I really hope once some players are back from suspension and injury we can battle for forth and keep our pulling power of Champ's League football. I don't think we need a massive knee jerk reaction to this bad start but keep positive and the team realise what a mess they are in and show some team spirit. But I would like to leave you guys with this thought. Real M and Mourinho have been having spats quite often and running out of patience with each other. I would love to seen Mourinho as a suitable replacement for Arsene. New back room staff, shake up the medical team, his eye for perfection in preparation and his love for English football. Jose has publicly spoken about his return to England but will this be too early? I'm sure some will say he will wait for SAF to retire but I would see him as a man who likes a challenge. Not making it too easy. He would have a clean slate, money in the kitty - similar to when he arrived at Chelski. At Man U it would all be far to easy... Thoughts?
I can't see mourinho going to arsenal. He likes teams that have a solid defence that he can build on. Arsenals defence is shoddy atm.
Why would he come to Arsenal? The guy was crying about not getting enough money to spend at REAL MADRID. Jose is everything the board at Arsenal are not.
