Jose returns to Chelsea, I for one didn't think that would happen. http://news.sky.com/story/1098816/jose-mourinho-chelsea-confirm-new-manager
I did. Was obvious that he would return and with all the latest goings on the timing was perfect. Glad to have him back and hopefully he can bring some of the quality footballers from Spain with him.
I did rate him in his prime but he's in the twilight years now, hence the small club he's ended up being stuck with...
Never mind Shiny we'll soon be able to say act your age not your shoe size And you can always reply life's too short to act like an adult all the time
Why should you be the only bloke to grow up? Those of us around 70 years of age are still behaving like children and it's fun.
Sometimes you have to release your inner child just some of us can't work out how to put it back afterwards
Sick of hearing about these supposedly world class managers and who in their right mind would work for the "backside" at Stamford Bridge? He will be gone again by this time next year - you heard it here exclusive!
Even though it's been talked about for several months, I'm surprised that Mourinho has gone back to Chelsea. Yes, he was worshiped by Chelsea fans, and for entertainment value he was absolutely fantastic in the Premier League. Inter Milan was a great move for him, and it paid off, but to be honest signing for Real Madrid was never going to go well for him because of the whole ethos of the club. He would never have full control of the team, especially with the likes of Ramos and Castillas being deemed more important than any manager the club have been lucky to have. In many ways, it's very similar to Chelsea in that they almost want a coach rather than a manager, because the owner/president is the one making the signings. This is probably why Benitez did well at Chelsea, because all he had to do was coach a team already consisting of fantastic players. Now that he's won the Champions League twice, and has managed in Italy, Spain and England it's hard to imagine where he can go next. The obvious choice is Germany, but I reckon that will be a move for later on in his career. Other than that, there isn't really anywhere else to conquer, so it's possible that Mourinho is looking for a long-term stay at Chelsea, if Abramovich is willing.
For the very reason you state I can't see this being a match made in heaven Neither Abramovich or Mouriho have changed much if at all in the last few years so the conflict is likely to start sooner rather than later. 2 years max.
Who wouldn't 3 year contract 1 million plus a year sacked after 12 months trouser 2 million go and work somewhere better it's a no brainer they would be set for life after 12 months at Chelski.
