I was wondering where DH had got to. I'll hold off voting for now in case he gets upset.

Didn't think Meyler was that terrible? Good performance all round, just wasteful up front but it waa different people every time. The only disappointment was Hernandez. We look so much ****ter as soon as Jelavic is off the pitch. If we go down one of the biggest factors must be Jelavic's dodgy knee. We've lost so many points when he's gone off the pitch.

Meyler seems to have become the easy scapegoat.

It's almost as if people say "we didn't win, must be Meyler's fault".

I'm a bit of an agnostic where Meyler is concerned, but there's no denying he was the weak link tonight. In fact, he was bloody awful and should have been taken off in the second half. Everyone else played well, I thought.

Thats bollocks mate. The worst decision was silly ****s giving Robertson motm. He didnt put a decent cross in the whole game. The only two decent crosses from the left second half were from Meyler. First one N'doye brings it down and instead of lashing it dinked it back across. The other one Un Abel didnt attack it.

Robbo lost his man for their goal too.

Our delivery from corners, crosses, free kicks is ****ing ****. No quality at all. Coupeld with piss poor decision making at crucial times and we aint gonna score.

Agree with plt Jelly wasnt fully fit and it shows in the whole team performance. He's still ****ing ace though.

I have two eyes , a brain and like to think that I know a bit about football.

I can also make up my own mind.

    Meyler was dogger tonight.

No scapegoating, just an opinion on tonight's game.

    He was turd.

Meyler lacks some quality and composure at times, but I think he's far from ****.

Sounds weird to say, but you have to accept some of the untidiness with him I think. He's our most likely midfielder to score a goal and he's a fighter.

I'm not saying he is ****, just that he was tonight.

    IMO.

    N'Doye
    Robbo

N'Doye would be MOM but he didn't take the second chance that would have won it for us. Dawson MOM by default in that case.

    Well said.
No need to slag one of our players off like that mate.

Meyler frustrates the hell out of me when he gets into an offensive position because he just can't seem to pick out an offensive pass. That said, he covers so much ground for the team that it's difficult to criticise.

I thought he did well tonight as well.

I think there's an unfair focus on him at the moment.

You won't hear a word against him from me in the ground mate but if you can't criticise him on here then where can you?

    Is it not permitted?

    Is it unfair though?

I heard one bloke say tonight, and I quote ' For ****s sake don't pass it it to him'

Bit harsh but a lot of people can see he lacks quality.

    Not just on here.

I thought everyone played well tonight, and I enjoyed the game.

Sunderland grew into the game after Jelavic went off, I think were lucky with some decisions, and had some sort of enormous telegraph pole in goal that cleaned up a lot situations.

    We should have won though.

You are never allowed to criticise anything Hull City, unless it relates to our mad owner and his stupid ideas.

You are not even allowed to offer an opinion on player performance or tactics unless you can prove you are/have been a professional.

This forum is mainly for talking about country music and eating as much bait as you can.

    Hope this helps.
