Very tough - great team performance - but goals win games and when you get 2, you get MOM

Graziano for me, he is a great outlet and reads the game so well, I always thought that we would miss Rickie's all round CF play ....I was wrong.

Elia, although I thought Pelle was outstanding as well.

    Yes, just for me.

Clyde was almost perfect for 80 minutes.
Pelle was excellent today, just a few wrong passing options.
Reed - was that really only his 2nd PL start? Awesome
Fonte was superb again and a great save too.
Davis - showed his ability to drop into the CDM role

But Elia was excellent. I thought he wasn't supposed to like tracking back?? He did lots today and as said above ... 2 goals.

Had to give it to Elia because he scored 2 goals in only his 2nd game. Other than that every player deserves it. Our strength is as a team. I have waited decades for us to have a team like this.

Btw Fran our cup semi is tight, very tight. I ballsed up with Fleetwood scoring nil and you have Genoa to come.

I thought Gardos had a good game too, I know there was a mix up for their goal which was appalling bad luck and think Forster should have mad it his.
Some his tackling was really very good against a quick and decent team

Great team performance. Eljero has to get MOM for scoring the goals that won it.
Too many others to mention, no-one had a bad game.

Elia but top team performance away from home. Apart from his goals was impressed with Elia's defensive work when required. Harrison Reed performed well again. We almost didnt miss Morgan, Vic and Toby ! 3 very long distance away wins in 6 days is unbelievably good form by the whole squad and coaching staff.

Elia gets my vote because of the goals.

But special mention to Harri Reed for an assured performance.

Have to agree with you. Even when he doesn't score or pepper the woodwork he is normally the most influential player in the opposition half and still finds time to track back and defend like a lion.

Has to be Elia for me, he looks a real find and hopefully he maintains his form?
Interesting that some posters have given Steve Davis a special mention, I thought he had a quiet game yesterday and looked pretty knackered, He's usually one of the first names on the teamsheet in my opinion, but thought he was not on top of his game yesterday?

He was good but I thought, as FLT said above, occasionally he chose the wrong pass or gave the ball away being a bit too hasty. His chest to Ward-Prowse for the goal was just brilliant.

Elia seems strong and not easy to knock off the ball too.
