Just a bad day at the office or are the cracks beginning to show?

Select your top three, in order.

Christie - his best game for us for a while
Philogene - made some great tackles but without a right winger he doesn't have the space he usually gets to attack with
Twine - some good through balls and was behind some of the better chances we had

Thought Delap played well other than relentlessly shooting at the keeper after some great runs. He'd have squeaked into top 3 if it weren't for that dive.

Connolly looked like he had something about him. Tufan fairly anonymous, Seri was an accident waiting to happen and didn't look comfortable today at all. Loads of occasions he could have played forwards with options and chose to turn backwards instead.
Morton - kept giving it away in the first half, was better as the game went on. Coyle tried but got worse as it went on. Greaves was defensively suspect but seemed good at bringing it out at times. Macca did what he always does; got the basics right but is fairly limited. Has a good long ball on him but it's pointless using that when he's on the half way line.

Traore was ****e but was played out of position. If Philogene is injured we have no proper wingers ready to use... It's going to be a tough few games without them.

Allsop started out here as many people's MOTM once he came in. Now he's just a ghost that let's everything in and makes some seriously stupid mistakes. He has to get dropped and if we're going to challenge, we need a proper keeper. Ingram isn't the answer, but deserves another go now.

Hmm. They all tried hard but were pretty uninspiring almost without exception, and without Philogene I don’t expect things to improve. So, the best of a bad bunch …

Morton for a bit of skill
    Delap for trying
McLoughlin for his fab shot sadly matched by an even better save.

The ref was appalling, and seemed to have it in for Delap, as though Rosenior’s showdown with the refs’ body had backfired and he was determined to show who was boss.

Surprised to see Coyle getting votes, thought he had one of his worst games yesterday.

Greaves. Nearest one on the pitch to being very good
Christie. Did well especially 1st half, was also good
Delap. Apart from not scoring was also good
    Disappointed with the rest

Not taking our changes again won’t get the results we need. Still hampered by not having enough fit natural wingers & left backs. (Expensive buys not considered doesn’t help).
Can not fault players efforts and attitude, but lack of final quality/experience at key moments in the game puts top 6 in jeopardy. That of course costs a lot of money to sort out.
Middlesbrough will be a test of Liam’s experience to get something out of that game.

Step son said the staff were just picking up half empty glasses (plastic I presume) and topping them up. Unless they were pre prepared? £7 for a bottle of Carlsberg or something similar?

Anyone travelling to support City and buying a beer there is MOTM

Going on the away concourse at QPR is a little like visiting a prison.

I'd expect it to get mentioned in the Viz Top Tips. 'Go to QPR away, queue up to buy a beer in a heaving throng of people, then go and stand against the wall, so that no-one can get through between the drinkers and the queues. Fabulous experience.'

Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third.

    Greaves 26
    Christie 24
    Coyle 12
    Delap 6
    Morton 5
    Philogene 3
    McLoughlin 2
    Twine 1
    Slater 1

The votes are a bit all over the place to be honest.

So, a fair reflection of our performance then.
