Philogene - looked like the best player in the Championship. (For 20 minutes).

Seri - did what Seri does. (Not particularly well, but not particularly badly).

Allsop - one good assist, one good save (and one good stamp of his little feet to show his annoyance when they equalised).

Philogene for his outstanding first half display. They neutered him 2nd half by playing Norton Cuffy on his wing so spent most of the time defending.
McLoughlin for a beautiful long ball which led to our equaliser and generally playing ok despite being in and out of the team.
Struggling for a third. Delap I guess.

Connolly needs to start performing again.

Philogene - has the ability to terrorise defences, a real gem who's beginning to gel with his teammates.
McLoughlin - battled hard and showed some real quality.
Delap - another with the ability to terrorise, such a powerful and skillful player.

Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third.

Philogene 58
McLoughlin 21
Seri 18
Delap 8
Allsop 2
Greaves 1

One question: where would we currently be without Philogene in the side? However did we manage to sign him?

Actually, that's two questions.

Allegedly he was attracted by the style of play that so many on here seem fed up with. I suspect he's already worth a lot more than we paid for him, and if he keeps scoring he'll be approaching the £20m mark before too long, making the Villa buy-back redundant. So yes, an excellent bit of business.

I wonder if the reality is matching his expectations? Just a thought.
I can imagine the sales pitch to him, from Acun, Tan and Rosenior.
