Credit where its due. John Terry has been England's stand out performer in this Tournament. He almost single-handedly kept the Italians at bay tonight.

His inclusion has been more than justified and Rio Ferdinand could have been there helping his Country tonight instead of being at home sulking like a child.

Terry showed leadership, character and hes one of the few players that comes out of this with real credit.

Whilst I agree that Terry and the rest of the back four have had a good tournament it's unfair to accuse Ferdinand of sulking at home when the decision was made by Hodgson, Ferdinand had stated he was available to play, with or without Terry...

Ferdinand effectively made himself unavailable for selection when he decided to fall out with John Terry. It was an impossible situation for the Manager as they couldn't play together. His hands were tied. So after that Twattering fool was rightly dropped from the squad, he sent out his agent to cry to everyone that he was being mistreated. Pathetic.

Hes a disgrace to his Country.

Swords, if you were black and someone called your brother a 'black ****' would you smile and say nothing? If the answer is yes then you are a ****...

Don't let your anti-Chelsea vitriol cloud your mind on this one. This is a discussion about England players and the England team.

I'm not going to go into the spat between Terry and Ferdy Jnr again but suffice to say the pair of brothers made complete idiots out of themselves and Terry has handled himself (surprisingly it has to be said) with a measure of decorum and has answered his critics on the field of play.

I'm confident the case against him will be dropped and he'll be given the credit he deserves as a footballer and nothing more.

It's nothing to do with who or what, it is simply a case of a brother supporting his brother in a situation that came about from an outside complaint. You clearly have made your mind up regardless. I'm just just glad you're not my brother...

I can't take no more of this, I'm going to do an Ashley Young..... Hit the bar!
