What was that old definition of agony? Summut to do with sliding down a razor blade using your balls as brakes? Nah. Nah it's not. It's supporting this football team. Select your top three in order.
I don't think it was particularly individuals to blame. Some sort of complex issues with this team but nobody individually was that bad really. Ref was good, for what that's worth.
Egan - Would probably have stayed 0-0 if he stayed on. Pandur - For being our only player who can hold his head up high in this awful season. McLoughlin - Got skinned a couple of times but at least made a couple of great last ditch tackles.
I agree, thought they were just set up wrong and were maybe a bit unsure of what Selles wanted of them. As posted earlier, this one's down to him imo.
1 - Kamara - should have got the ball to him a lot more. 2 - Amrabat - just kept on going. 3 - Egan - not sure why he was brought off. Pandur - had nothing to do. Coyle - decent game but equally infuriating on the ball as per usual. Hughes - looked nervy. Macca - decent game to say he's standing in. Alzate - too casual. Puerta - looked nervy, up and down performance. Gelhardt - pretty poor. Joseph - put in the effort but won't score while we're unwilling or unable to play a pass to his feet or ahead of him.
COYLE! frigging jesus, guy gets dizzy if he has to play a forwards pass. He's not alone but is the worst culprit by a distance
Fraid no stand outs today, but best of a bad bunch 1.Macca - wasn't brilliant but he's a centre back playing at full back and did a better job then ther other flank 2. Egan - again nowt special but seems to have a steadying influence, if he'd have been on the pitch for the full 90 I doubt they'd have got the free kick 3. Nope Sellès ? Why the fk didn't ya go for the throat instead of trying to hang on to a point.
OK really been positive, until now….hard to accept that result though and losing belief we will stay up. Amrabat. Full of heart and effort just missing that final ball Hughes Solid enough against a pretty weak Derby attack though Kamara. I can only see him in our team creating goal chances Puerta, McLaughlin, Pandur did Ok today However, we have some serious player deficiencies and bravery in the team….. including some big purchases.I’m pretty concerned with our ‘game plan’, it’s not working. Was summed up at start of the game when we started really strong and put them under constant pressure for 4 minutes…. Then played the ball around at the back for next 3 minutes doing nothing positive…. It completely allowed them to regroup and depressurised their defence.
Ambrant Kamara McLoughlin. ... Simply not good enough and poor management today. A point would have been a good result and enough, not what we wanted but it would have been one more than we ended up with and it wouldn't have handed all three to the team immediately below us. With less then ten minutes left on the clock we had the point and all our subs to use to kill off the game and waste a bit of time, as every other club in the FL in our position would have done, except us. Selles never reacted to Derbys subs so I assuming that he was more than happy with the point ? Otherwise he would have brought his subs on earlier surely? So why not use them one at at time to run the clock down? Disrupt the flow of the game, be professional, keep what you have etc etc, be a manager in other words? Too late now, we are staring relegation in the face with one game to go. And I'm sick of hearing the excuses for the position the club are in because it is all self inflicted. Another full house today to witness a clueless performance, to watch a team who cannot score and who have won less home games then any other club in the FL. I don't think we will be seeing another full house for a long time. Thanks for **** all Acun. You have been a disaster, and some did say, be careful what you wish for, well.....
