Well, after DF win the award for November, we certainly started very brightly, but December returned a lower than hoped for points haul (11 points, GF 15, GA12) and if we keep gifting our opponents goals from corners, we'll do well to stay in the top 10, never mind the automatic/play-off places. I'm struggling to remember when we last conceded a goal as result of brilliant open play by the opposition and whilst it's great to see us snatch 1 or 3 points in the last few minutes of a game; I'd far rather see us become more resilient in defence. We started the game against Derby playing some of the best football I've seen at CR in several years, we gifted them a goal and then went to pieces. It would be nice to have a cup run and give the fringe players more minutes, but, IMO it's far more important to take points off both WBA and Sheffield United - a win against Brum would also be VERY welcome to help keep us near the top of the Championship. As Rick has said - after the 1p5wich game, we have a run of games against in the lower half of the league, so we should find it easier to increase our points tally/GD
