Good win. Don't know why Warnock was so upset with the 4th official though. Seemed like a perfectly obvious foul.
Didn't show any of tarbs tricks either! Colin was angered because he believed the everton player to have lost the ball-he thought it had got away from him. They sifted through the entire match to find the one clip of Warnock going mad, similar to how last week the post match interview was edited to only include the criticisms of Davies. Looks like the BBC desperately want a pantomime villain!
Alright gents. Last week you became the first club to be relegated on the first day of the season, you got assassinated by the studio on MotD (maybe rightly so). Different game for you now. Good luck.
Good point to remember that MOTD is just edited clips. From those clips we were fortunate but who cares? Job done and 3 points nearer to Premium safety.
MOTD coverage was rubbish. They were only interested in Everton's football as they probably still think we're a Championship side with no fans as their viewers.
Yeh, MOTD coverage was a bit one-sided but I guess the story was 'Everton skint and in turmoil' as opposed to 'Qpr not as bad as first thought' so they highlighted a lot on Everton. Fact is the game was 50/50 before we scored, after that we sat back and let them come on to us and unfortunately for them they weren't up to it. We had passages of play... minutes at a time when Everton couldn't get anywhere near us, Thats a blatant fact and we deserved our 3 points clearly despite what the coverage may portray. Onwards and upwards Rrrrr's fans
Bullsh*t. COLIN is a wan*er, we all know that. He'd argue in an empty room. If any other manager was ranting like that it would've been shown as well. Kill the conspiracy theories.
Did you watch any of Warnocks interviews last week swords? I watched all of them, thanks to QPR player amongst other sources. The one vaguely negative thing he said was a slight criticism of Kevin Davies Canny'ness and lack of yellow card for repeated fouling. This 10 second soundbite, out of the 20minutes ish of seperate video, was what the bbc used to represent his post match interview. Absolute Bullshi*t, he qualified his brief complaints by professing to being a big Davies fan, and the rest of the interview was magnanimous in defeat. He ranted and raved for 20 seconds yesterday, and again MOTD jumpedo n hte opportunity to demonise him. That's barely a conspiracy theory, of course they want to make Colin look bad, having a pantomime villian is good for ratings! I suppose Claridge was completely fair and balanced last year in his assessments of us on the FLS too?
This 606 call in is bullsh*t as well. They're banging on about ticket prices and getting morons to lambast QPR because it's good for radio, and completely skirting aroudn the fact that TF has already announced prices are to be revieiwed over the next few days :S
Listen Grifter, if COLIN's reputation is preceding him that's his own doing. And if Owen Coyle was banging on about one of our players they would've shown that an' all. The fact is, if COLIN was an opposing team's manager we'd all be giving him stick like most of us did before he came to QPR. Just because he's our manager now doesn't mean we should suddenly change our opinions of him. He's a W*NKER! But he's our W*NKER! P.S. Nice of you to rejoin us Bakes. You seemed to vanish for the week after the Bolton drubbing!
Is he really a W*NKER though? I think he's a throughly nice bloke these days, based on the words he says in his interviews. MOTD/the media in general are perpetuating a false image of our manager. It p*sses me off when oppostion fans self righteously tell me they hate Warnock, when i've watched hours of his interviews and know he's a nice guy, and they're just regurgitating populist media rubbish.
