8-0 doesn't seem like it would be the best game. I would have thought our's would have been the best match and the biggest upset.
Our 6-0 demolition of Fulham last season was also the first game on so Soton/Sun was always going to the opener. Thought we might've been on third tonight though....
You wouldn't be saying that if it was us who won 8-0... How often do you see an 8-0 or higher in the Prem? It's only happened 3 or 4 times since the creation of the Prem hasn't it? We were on first when we beat Fulham 6-0, nobody complained then.
An 8-0 has to be first. It just has to. I'm really looking forward to watching Sunderland get thoroughly humped, and Gurny Gus's big chin sinking to the floor.
Quite a few incidents happened across the Palace-Chelsea game, it was always going to be high up as a result. In all fairness, does it matter what point we are on? As long as we're on!
A decent mid-table team like ours grabbing a point at Arsenal is a bigger story than Soton 8, Sunlan 0? Get a grip mate!

I suppose in the wider scheme of things it doesn't really matter. Back to the Sot/Sun game I'm interested in what Poyet has to say. I remember when we beat them at SoL last season he refused to analyse the game because of Wes Brown's sending off early in the game. No excuses this time, Gus....
Probably good they've got Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on tonight, that Vergini goal was very Hasselbaink-esque.
