Was so funny saying he plays the least games he can to keep himself fresh for a contract extension

Then said the clubs he's played for Liverpool, real Madrid then he got a bit of money at Newcastle

Yup they were asking if he'd leave man utd for regular football elseweae and MO said no if he gets 15/20 games then Lawro came out with that

 

Owen looked so uncomfortable, squirming in his seat with his shiny forehead.

The pathetic thing is is that Owen doesn't understand why people say to him 'Why dont you move?' 'You're a squad player'........basically 'What the f*ck are you doing wasting the final years of your career?'

His a pathetic little knob. Dont have any respect for him whatsoever. Even Speedy on Football Focus said on Owen, 'I would have to play'. Well said Speedy.

 

It was hilarious, the fickle sod that I am after everything in the past I'm loving him after that. Awesome watching Owen shuffle uncomfortably with his sweaty forehead at Lawro's sly digs. Quality quality television.

Was funny, showed him to be the greedy little twat that he is.

Didn't look very happy or comfortable, surprised he didn't have a dig at us getting something from Manure.

 

Was chuffed at Lawro having a go but it's fair points he was making. Character aside, he's still a quality player as he has proven in his brief cameos for Man Utd. He could very easily be playing for a club like Villa or Fulham, still getting a good wage (factoring image rights and whatnot) but actually play (or have the potential to play) 30+ games a season.

The fact he's happy to admit he would rather play 15 games a season than be a regular first teamer shows he couldn't give a flying fig about football. With that attitude he should have retired years ago.
