So, what are your predictions for the analysis tonight? I think it will go a bit like this. Gary Lineker - 'Are Norwich are safe?' Mark 'one word' Lawrenson - 'Yes' Gary Lineker - 'So Spurs...'
I guarantee you they won't agree with at least one of the three penalty shouts! I remember they said Wigan's on the opening day of the season was 'stonewall' and left it at that.
Linaker isn't hosting but i'm not sure who the summarisers are. ~ I'm praying to GOD it's Lawro, can't wait to see his facking stupid scouse face after that hahahaha
Colin Murray is presenter, don't like him mainly because I struggle with his accent! He normally has Dixon with him, now him I do like!
Lawro predicted a 3-0 win for Spurs, said Norwich looked like a side who can't wait for the finishing line to come. Hope he predicts a win for Man City on Saturday, on his form we'll get something out of that game aswell if he does.
MOTD2 is so much better than the main one, atleast we get unbiased equal analysis from the pundits which usually is lee dixon plus one player and maybe another pundit. Hoping tonight will be on the same par I will how ever gaurentee that it will be more about spurs wobbling form than our superb and deserving performance if its otherwise
Redknapp was very gracious in his post match and PL said 'Arry agreed about the penalty shouts. There are only 5 games to comment on, and I believe we will be first up so I think it will be a different panel and we will be surprised by their response. And anyway, it doesn't matter as we witnessed a marvellous performance today.
Murray: So what's gone wrong at Spurs? Shearer: Redknapp resignation etc. Hansen: Poor defending etc. Murray: But well done Norwich they played well. Hansen: Yes they did. Murray: Now Newcastle had the chance to capitalise...
GL "Whoever would have thought it, but after an amazing season, Norwich City are level on points with Liverpool, with 5 games to go" ML "They never know when to stop, this Norwich team, credit to the manager" So, the usual drivel then, that you have repeated every single week!!! LD "Stunning result that has really let the cat out among the pigeons, suddenly the race for that last champions league spot is wide open. As I have said all along, Paul Lambert is a fantastic manager and what he has acheived this season, given the limited resources and lower league talent, is amazing." Great insight, a good pundit finally! GL "Will Norwich finish ahead of Liverpool, considering their strong recent showing?" ML "Absolutely not, they are going through a poor run in form, but with Kenny at the helm, and quality players like Gerrard and Suarez, you would bet that a win is just around the corner." Such bias showing through, as he is mortified that Norwich could finish above his beloved Liverpool --- The nationwide audience at this moment, bursts out laughing at this incompetent fool, who is as biased as they come and has no actual skill at predictions whatsoever --- GL "Norwich felt that at 1-0 up, they had a clear penalty shout. 60 seconds later, Spurs equalize. Is there a big club bias in referees awarding penalties?" LD "In my eyes, that was a stonewall penalty, you cannot do that as a Premier League defender, Ledley King pulling Grant Holt back by his shirt and denying him a goalscoring opportunity. He was a lucky boy not to have conceeded a penalty, let alone shown a red card." ML "I think the referee was wrong, but fortunately it didn't matter because Norwich scored a winner" AKA I don't really care less about smaller teams, I only concern myself with the big boys GL "Many fans are calling for Pierce to call-up John Ruddy and Grant Holt to the England Squad for Euro 2012. How do you rate their chances?" LD "John Ruddy has been outstanding all season, it would be madness not to include him for this summer, and Grant Holt, as the 2nd highest english goalscorer this season has proved us all wrong, an inspirational leader to this young norwich side" ML "Ruddy made some great saves today, if he can maintain it till the end of the season, he should be looked at closely. Holt is your classic english battering ram forward who bullies the opposition defenders and he gave the Spurs duo a torid time today. I still think that Crouch offers a better physical option than Holt, and that Defoe also still has in him." I hate Holt, I always have, for making me look like a moron for screwing up majorly Norwich's predicted finishing positions these last 3 years --- My Take
let's continue to prove these class A muppet 'expert' analysts wrong, that's all we need to do... to be fair, on MOTD2 when we've been on, we've had some praise (with some knowledge of the team) from Murray, Dixon and co I don't think they (hanson etc) know much about anyone outside of the top six and Wolves, Bolton and Blackburn.
I've said it before but these players have given us everything. Many of them have put there body on line every week to drag this football club up from the depths every week for the last two years. So when someone unjustifiably rips on them, especially when it's a person apparently held in high esteem and people listen to (unfortunately plenty of mugs do take what Lawro says seriously) we are not going to have that, we'll defend our players to the hilt for what they've done to change this football team. Lawrenson probably thought he could get away with such a pithy, pathetic reaction to Grant holt getting a shot at England but he's had absolute pelters back from Norwich fans and plenty of neutrals too. If he wants a war, he's got one, but if I were him i'd back down pretty sharpish, because he's **** all obstacle wise compared to what we've faced as fans in recent times.
Couldn't agree more Beef. I was at the game on Saturday and thought we played brilliantly - though IMO, that display was easily surpassed by today's display of attacking football - AWAY!!!! I'm sure not many managers would have had the bottle to send out such an attack-minded team at WHL and boy, how hamdsomely it paid off. We should have had at least one penalty and the way GH made a mug of LK (an England international), shows how much he deserves to be in the squad for the Euros. Even 'Arry said how well we played!!!! Having a glass (or 2) to celebrate being in the PL next season!!!
If they'd have showed proper highlights of the Everton game they might have tipped off spurs how well we played so I guess we owe them.
I have promised my followers on Twitter a picture of me slapping my balls against Lawros face if he's on MOTD tonight. Think I might have to take it from an angle though, don't want my knob all over twitter!
