    The whole world agrees the current bunch are beyond ****e but who would they be replaced with? Three new pundits (excluding regulars on other channels).

    1. Hughton for the composed, thought out analysis
    2. Ginola for the excitement and enthusiasm
    3. Sir Les the inbetweener.

    I know it's Newcastle biased but to be honest I don't pay too much attention to anyone else.

    To show the grass isn't always greener, three who would make it worse?

    1. Fat sham to replace Hansen for obvious reasons
    2. Roark jr/yellow bastard to replace Lawro; again, obvious reasons
    3. Bono

    I enjoy watching match of the day 2 more. Colin Murray is a funny, knowledgeable and charismatic presenter. Also, Lee Dixon is a decent pundit. They should just swap Saturday's and Sunday's presenters!

    To be honest most pundits get on my nerves now, mainly due to their lack of knowledge and lack of eloquence. SkySports is arguably worse than MOTD. Really annoys me that people like Merson get employed as 'experts', the guy is a total idiot. He was covering the Chelsea game this week and didn't know any of the Swansea players names. He gets paid to watch football and can't even be arsed to do a bit of reading/research before the match. Pillock.

    If you ever listened to fighting talk, you would know that he knows his stuff! I guess whether he is funny or not depends on personal taste as well

    It's about time MOTD had a complete overhaul, it's boring and outdated. Gary Lineker is so scripted it's embarrassing, it's like a bad comedy sketch at times. Bear in mind these sad individuals are on huge salaries.
    With regards Soccer Saturday, I don't think Paul Merson is there to give any informed opinion, he's more likely there for the comedy element, the man is a buffoon.

    motd is ****e now, we got no bit of praise last night, it used to be fair now it is just controlled and biased, how on earth man utd and city deserved extended highlights... it pisses me right of, at least sky are at least abit less biased :L

    Why did MOTD spend roughly 90 seconds covering the Gerrard substitution last night? I'm sure part of it was shown in slow motion as he waited on the touchline.

    MOTD show all other subs with graphics.

    Lawro panicked when Hansen looked at him and said "there's only one person who said they'd struggle here." Lawro looked around like "Err..wha..err..me?..No!" And then they blamed Lineker total utter weasels. The guy's a hacks. Scumbags.

    This, Colin Murray hasn't played the game, but he is clearly just a big of a football - that's why I like him!

    He has been picked by the BBC because he managed to make half time during Chanel 5 Euro games entertaining...They're trying to make MOTD a bit more Top Gear-esque in its accessibility and I personally think Colin Murray is the perfect choice - Much prefer MOTD 2 to 1!
