How the hell can a fair minded and not biased director of motd not show the larson free kick and very good save by given...it beggers belief......av were obviously the best team for all of the game........... not
we get the same crap it's called being from the north east, you'll get used to it we always get overlooked for everything but as the poster above said ...**** em
Disappointing, I saw the title of this thread (from the home page not the Sunderland forum) and thought it was going to be a Man U fan wingeing about being on fifth. MotD always miss out good bits of action, but find time to show celebrities in the crowd, the subs bench, the players walking out of the tunnel, Fergie chewing his gum, and all manner of meaningless bullshit no one gives a toss about.
Watch it if it's on when I get in, as last night apart from that don't bother. We weren't on last which is an improvement and I'll bet we are on first or second next week.
I don't even bother with it now. There's a bias against us (and the north east) in all the media and written press. Still if the FA are perfectly willing to employ an England manager who openly admits he's never visited the regions football clubs because it's too far away/too cold then what else should we expect?
Exactly the same thing happened to us against Villa not that you mention it. Great shot by Cabaye from about 20 yards out, going in the top corner and Given made a great save - nowhere to be seen on MOTD
At Arsenal, Larrson and van Persie's free kicks - to me - were identical. Yet while Larrson's was 'fantastic' - van Persie's for MOTD was apparently 'world class'.
Let's face it, it's typical pish that the BBC put out. Even the pundits are ****e, Lineker who's ears look like the FAcup handles, that squeaky little twat Lawrenson, boring weetabix heed & grumpy owld Hanson. You'd get more input from the last of the summer wine cast.
How much.... The BBC’s wage bill has come under renewed scrutiny after it was revealed that Match of the Day pundit Alan Hansen nets a staggering £1.5million a year – that’s £40,000 for each appearance. The revelation comes as the corporation insists it is falling in line with the austerity measures being endured by the rest of the public sector. It is aiming to cut 2,000 jobs and save £670m. An MP has urged the BBC to justify the former Liverpool player’s huge pay packet Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nsen-paid-40-000-Match-Day.html#ixzz1cNZISsRu
What I can't understand is how they missed 30,000 Sunderlands fans telling Bent he was not well liked in these parts.....
