Did anyone else find it strange that they included Aguroe's first goal against us in the list of best goals, even though it was "a little bit offside and a little bit hand ball"?......At least it didn't come in the top 3.... Then John Hartson who is not a bad pundit says it should have won it because of the amazing skill Aguero showed......The presenter did challenge him about the hand ball but no, according to Hartson is was great skill..... Big team bias.....
I thought that was laughable too. Basically, you could run from the half-way line carrying the ball rugby style and then drop it, do a couple of flicks and bury it and it would still be up there for the goal of the season award.
They should give it to Austin for the goal he banged in against City when Joe Hart kicked it to him. There was a bit of disallowed about it but they shouldn't let that get in the way. Perhaps now when they're looking at save of the month, they should consider saves even if there's a little bit of goal about them.
Talking of saves, Rob Greens quite brilliant stop from Boyd didn't even get a showing at the end when they highlighted the saves of the day and Greeno's was better than all of them (biased naturally)....... and there's more.....Dunne gets over-looked for Garth Brooks team of the week instead he chooses Colocinni and Clark from Villa as the 2 center backs....clueless (biased again)....
Dunne made 20 completed tackles in Saturday's match, 100% successful! Arsenal made one completed tackle in the entire first half at Stoke!...
