Season looked at: 2007/08 to 2017/2018 Criteria: League, champions league and Europa league considered "major" trophies FA cup and league cup groups as one but FA cup rated marginally higher primarily due to history. Where a tie in trophies exists FA cup first and then most recent cup ranks a team higher. 1. We have had our chances to be up there but have fluffed our lines. Just a note to all LFC fans singing at cheslea you got no history..... shut up eh?
Chelsea have had 12 managers in that time. How many trophies have the other clubs won over a similar number of regimes?
That would be an utter and total waste of time, particularly as you'd put all of fergusons time back into the Utd figures
You miss the point. Singing you've got no history is extremely hollow when they have a 10 to 1 trophy ratio to boast about compared to us.
How more hollow do you think you need to sound before Chelsea grow a history. Chelsea won one trophy in the 1950s, one in the 1960s, one just about in the 1970s (1970) and then one or two in the 90s. Over the past 25 years they have 11 cups, 3 European trophies and 5 league titles. Is that also too recent to be history? 19 trophies in 25 years. Oh and.... let's not forget that double as well. We have won 5 cups and 2 European trophies. 7 in 25 years.
Chelsea might be able to start growing some history when they go back to being a football club rather than a money laundering front for a Russian crook My guess is they disappear from the PL within 5 years of him leaving
They might not have won major trophies in the last 10 years but Bournmouth 10 years ago they were going through administration in League 2 and have battled and gained promotion into League 1, The Championship and then the Premier League and are currently 6th. Depends what your perception of success is.
