Which are your 3 most memorable Man Utd goals? Don't have to be stunning 30 yard drives, or a forward beating 4-5 players; just they always stuck for some reason in your head. Okay here is mine in no particular order. Ryan Giggs against Spurs 19th September 1992. Giggs takes the ball past the hapless Dean Austin after he fell, nutmeged Jason 'Funboy' Cundy, and then another touch to run around Ian Walker in the Tottenham goal before shooting the ball into the empty net. Love it!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEAouJwTYlU#t=3m04s Mark Hughes against his old club Barcelona in the European Cup Winners Cup final in 1991. The night before my GCSE Maths exam!!!! Eric Cantona against Liverpool in the FA Cup final. Great for obvious reasons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnicDdrxhf8#t=0m30s So what are yours?
This^ Also John O'shea v Liverpool at anfield to win the game Cantonas chip v sunderland. first 3 that come to mind.
Some most memorable ones for me are Norman Whiteside in the 1985 cup final, first FA cup final I went to. Bryan Robson right foot screamer into top corner against Liverpool at Maine Road in FA cup semi of the same year. Bryan Robson's clincher v Barcelona at Old Trafford in 1984 ECWC quarter final. The above Hughsey goal V Barca in the 1991 ECWC final in Rotterdam Ole and Sheringham's goals at the Camp Nou in 1999 european cup final. Andy Cole's lob v Spurs to clinch league in leg one of the 1999 treble. Any by Eric Cantona All happy days.
I remember watching a video of the 1985 FA Cup final. It was one of the first I thought of but I didnt see it live. I got a review of the 80's sort of thing when I was a kid and saw it there.
It seem at the time that Neville Southall was unbeatable and Everton had just clinched the league and were going for a treble of their own, ECWC also. Ten men United buggered it up, great day and superb goal. Olsen from the left to Hughes in the middle, looks up and sends Norm free with a ball out to the right with the outside of his right boot, he bears down on goal, couple of quick step overs and bends it left footed into the bottom corner, towards where I was sat. Superb.

Another double clincher, his two penalties in the '94 cup final were also special enough. **** match the '96 final though, boring as ****. Ruined by a **** Liverpool no doubt! Spice boys my arse.
For me, giggs vs arsenal 1999 fa cup semi final. Wayne rooneys volley against Newcastle. Ronaldo 40 yarder against Porto.
Steve Bruce's two against Luton in March 91 (first Utd goals I remember seeing live at OT) Giggs vs Arsenal in 1999 Sheringham's vs Bayern in 1999. For some reason I always remember that one more lucidly than Solskjaer's. I think it was cos about 30 seconds before that goal I'd given up on us winning the game...
Talking of two goals from Bruce, the two he scored deep, deep into injury time against Sheffield Wednesday live long in the memory. Was in K stand and a lot of people had given up and gone home, the second was well into injury time but legend now has it it was 12 minutes(A young Howard Webb was ref)! The place went mental. Got the title ball rolling to break the 27 year duck and the rest is certainly well placed in history.
the macari/greenhoff goal against liverpool 1977 fa cup final any goal by - Macari, Hill , Coppell & Pearson andy ritchie mid air kunk fu style kick against Derby I think it was '78 - best goal I'd ever seen in my life up until that day, especially when we were banned from the baseball ground, but I still got in ...along with about another 1,999 other reds! the Bryan Robson ones Rusholm Ruffian described. Any Mark Hughes goal Giggs 99 solo against Arsenal Becks' from our own half "lob" of goal keeper Ole's 99 Cl final - still brings a tear to my eye!
I was only quite young but I this was one of my earliest United memories was this cracker. Remember going mad because my Dad was after Robson and then Stapleton scored. The start of Fergie Time? Brucey's first goal was ridiculous. It was like a volley but the second was just brilliant as it finally hit home we were going to win the league. Simply here because of Cantona's pass. Wow.
What a game this was. A sign of things to come that season, our never say die attitude that we are famous for. This is why I love the club. Went mad on both goals again. I don't think I have ever celebrated a goal like I did with this. We were hammered for 90 minutes, Scholes had been sent off and we bring John O'Shea on, off the bench. We were chasing the league title and Liverpool looked the most likely to score. I thought 'great bring this sack of **** on when we need a goal' This goal turned O'Shea into a United legend. This one won us the league in my opinion. It's every kids dream to do things like this and as a 17 year old making his debut, to score a goal of that quality was unbelieveable. It was a nice touch for him to run to his family while the United players ran all over the pitch, not knowing what to do with themselves. This is another classic 77 FA cup final 3 great goals, but the best 2 from UTD I can remember dropping my drink on the floor when we won
