    I guess it has to be Lineker, I used to play football with his son Harry in the under8s through to under12s, he would turn up to watch him and occasionally come to training sessions to help out coaching.

    For the record his son was our worst player by a country mile.

    Henry Cooper. Was in the lav next to him at The Alexandra Hall in North London where he was due to present the winner of The News Of The World Darts trophy. A great man. After shaking our sticks he spent a good 10 minutes chatting to me outside in the main arena where we watched a couple of games unfolding. Unforgettable.
