Player/ member of staff over the years, been plenty we’ve loved but who have you truly loathed? There’s always little twats at every club. Many will say Ashley which is obvious, Steve Bruce for me. A born and bred Geordie lad and he didn’t give one ounce of **** about our (meant to be his boyhood club) no loyalty as seen with him managing rivals across the country, been a lazy fat **** letting players take unnecessary time off. Excuse after excuse. Not someone I’d like going for a pint with nevermind managing our club. Michael Owen is another one, used us like we weren’t good enough for him. Twat.
Player: Owen, no comment required. Manager: Bruce for obvious reasons, has a strong victim mentality that man. The season before he was sacked Newcastle were playing the worst I've ever seen. We could not defend, had no attacking ability, had no players nearly fit enough and could just about pass, if Shelvey was playing. It was always coming too, everyone with any sense knew that we were heading towards relegation. I disliked Rafa too, for having a weak, victim mentality towards managing the club.

Hated is different to worst, so most hated has to be Owen. Wayne Fereday was utter, utter dogshit, but he knew he was, and it was the fault of whoever signed and played him. Owen however - record signing combined with massive expectation, and a deal on unbelievable wages, put in zero effort, constant foul attitude, bad mouths the club at every opportunity and tries to make out we ruined his career. Also only cared about his England career with us and constantly thought he was above us, some nice schadenfreude when Capello dropped him from the England team. In terms of manager probably Souness, horrible football and results, an absolute thug and destroyed a champions league team. McClaren , Bruce and Carver were obviously horrific too, but an the end of the day all they did was accept a job massively too good for them, the blame for them is with Ashley.
