    According to OptaJoe on Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/OptaJoe the most fouled players this season are:
    Ashley Young(96)
    Charlie Adam (86)
    Clint Dempsey (77)
    Jonas (74)

    Well not surprised to see Young and Jonas up there but quite hard to believe that Adam and Dempsey are up there but what's even more surprising is that there are no Arsenal players nor Nani nor Bale etc etc. I hope I'm wrong but I think all 4 players will be on the move this summer <whistle>...

    I'm surprised Jonas isnt even higher than 4th, he has an incredible ability to draw 4 or 5 players onto him and one ends up fouling him because he has no one to pass to and runs too far (relieving pressure). If we have Ben Arfa next season alongside him I think we will score a lot more on the counter attack with these two because there will be an option in HBA, and he might even be unmarked because they're all chasing Jonas <ok>

    Arsenal players don't stay healthy long enough to top any lists, same goes for Bale. All four of those guys are really the only players on their clubs that can retain the ball and are aggressive making runs forward. Interesting stat for sure though!
