Cant believe some of the utter drivel I've read on this board. I'm shocked you guys dont thank your lucky stars every night for having such a great manager like Pulis. In reality you're a tiny football club based in one of this country's most vile citys and somehow he has managed attract some decent players to you guys and has turned you into a team that most people dont even consider as a relegation candidate at the start of a season... Have you lot even noticed the size of some of the clubs that have either gone down in recent years or are seriously relegation threatened now?? i.e Newcastle, Blackburn, Villa, West Ham... I hope he gets the managerial move he deserves sometime soon. Inevitable a vastly inferior coach will come in and you'll be relegated shortly after back to football league obscurity where you belong, and you'll all come crying on here claiming that you shouldn't have fixed something which wasnt broken etc etc.... When you consider the logistics of trying to lure a half decent player to Stoke then you'll appreciate how difficult it will be for you to stay up after Pulis leaves, and how good a job he did in the first place.... Oh and I hear the Asda in the centre of town near the Stadium is really good,...really nice.
I love a good wum lol. some of what u say would be worth listening to if you werent so obviously on the wum. but if u are really concerned take him. As for deluded I really think if you read the other threads you will notice that most stoke fans dont want the world but if they do spend there hard earned cash would like to see something that resembles football and to be fair the amount we have spent on players we should be by now As for your damming report on stoke on trent yer right but its a tesco not an asda lol Good luck for the rest of the season at this rate we may be alot closer in the table come may
I love the smell of BS in the morning, it smells of... Ah Shepherds Bush...the London Riveira hmmmm. Oh and by the way, can you take your favourite son back home, the fat bastard Gerry Francis is eating all the pies. Thank you for cheering me up this morning Love and kisses Nick ps now just **** off
In all honesty, although it may sound like im being a wum, you know in reality that a lot of this is true. Its nothing to do with being a QPR fan, our club has its flaws, but ask any of our fans whether they would trade our fortunes over the past 5 seasons for Stoke's (Consistency in the PL, FA Cup final day out at Wembley, good signings etc) and the answer would be a resounding 100% yes... I guess what im trying to get at is you dont understand how lucky you are and how solid a job Pulis has done, and maybe it will take a relegation to make you relise that... The simple truth is if you get rid of Pulis, inevitably someone like Solskjaer, Coyle or Curbishley will come in and you'll be one of the dark horses for relegation, in a time where due to TV rights etc, clubs cant really afford to go down... If you guys are really deluded enough to think you have a divine right to play good football and stay in the PL then you are fools. Stick with Pulis and you're more or less guaranteed saftey...or Maybe the residents of Stoke on Trent enjoy spending their "hard earned cash" on Championship football, in which case... Pulis OUT.
I do here what u are saying and on paper I think it is hard to complain. I think the real problem that you cant see is as a fan of another club is that when you watch stoke week in week out like most of us on here do, you see the same mistakes made again and again it gets so frustrating and you wonder why the manager continues to do the things he does. Take sunday for example we had no recognised wingers or left sided players and its things like this that make u wonder with only 1 win in 20 odd games if the manager is doing his job right. Again you could say on paper yes but with the money he has spent and the quality of players at his disposal I think most fans would expect a little more I dont think any stoke fan expects carpet stuff but when a team is set up to launch it and has no prospect of keepin the ball and creates little, it can be hard to keep the faith. I think the most damming thing is after most stoke games ppl come on to these boards and say thank god we only have to watch your team twice a season. May be sour grapes for fans of other teams but sometimes I have,to agree most stoke games are dull
You wouldn't be saying this if you had watched 5 years of the ****e football we have had to watch. Only comment when you have watched us week after week, until then you really don't have a say on this!
Yes Pulis has done a great job, but here's a few stats for you: 1 win in 10 (Home win vs reading) 1 win in 24 away games (West brom- we always beat them) 8 wins in the last 40 matches. And then ****e football to watch goes on top of that That might help you to realise why most of us are fed up.
I think that QPR fans are the most deluded - how dare they think they should be allowed to play on the same pitch as the fearsome Stoke!
Love this guy and to think how much QPR have spent (this season) Smither's????????????????????? And could STILL go down. Surly it's a wum merchant taking the P***? Oh and WTF there is NO ASDA near the Stadium you numpty it's in STOKE town Centre, our ground is NOT. P.S. I must say, like Waddo has said.. IF you watched the sheite served up every week, you too would be complaining. No worrie's when QPR go down, Arry will just pee off to another club with money to burn.
and you.............................................are a tool and know nothing about our club so **** off back onto your own board and start planning for life in the championship. taaa raaah!!
Crazy I'm not so sure mate re QPR looks like it but... They score goals and Arry knows what he's doing I'm not so sure. Reading are down IMO. IF Sunderland lose on Sunday? Same with Wigan? I have though read that Arry say's " QPR need FIVE more wins" in truth, I can't see that happening.
I understand from an outsider's perspective it is difficult to understand but you will just have to take our word for it as we know more about our club and our current situation. The reality is we are very lucky that the Premier League is as bad as it is. The fact that WE are 10th just shows how utterly awful this league is. I won't go through all of the reasons why we want Pulis out as it has been done to death and I'm very weary. I'll leave it to other posters to explain.
