This is according to Wikipedia I might add but this was in 1926-27 season with Bradford Park Avenue. Can we create English football history?

If we're counting cup games then we're on 18, needing to beat the following to break the record...

    Middlesbrough
    Peterborough
    Brighton
    Hull
    Blackpool
    Crystal Palace
    Bristol City
    Leicester

Though there'll probably be a cup game in there somewhere.

Would be an astonishing achievement if it were to happen, but realistically, the chances are very slim.

I wonder what the bookies odds would be for the record to be broken though? Surely it's worth a punt!

I just thought I'd bring it up but I dont think it counts cup games. I would be stunned if we managed it. If we did do it we'd probably be about 12 points clear!

Sorry but it will be a draw against Middlesboro they will park a bus or two across their penalty area and rely on breakaways.

So were the previous string of 17 wins. Don't sell us short just yet.

Hull will be the trickiest out of them I reckon. Pretty sure they are very good away from home, but so were West Ham before we beat them yesterday!
