Really we should have been relegated last season but we got a second chance. We should have rectified the problems this season and we didn't. No new center back of quality and buying Johnson a sick note to play alongside another sick note in Zamora. Fulham must have been laughing all the way to the bank. Why we needed to sign so many midfielders, most of whom has been ****e, is a mystery. Might be that Hughes knows the answer.

The other amazing thing is how so many players who looked good at their previous clubs look so poor for us. Hoilett , Park, Granero, Samba to name a few. There must be something we are doing wrong in training?

Big name players coming to our small club. Motives all wrong. We signed the wrong type of player.

It's not as simple as that. Some of Hughes signings are or were good promising young players, as Hoilet and Granero were of those named, and you can hardly bracket these young very promising players together with Park, Johnson and Zamora who were clearly past it, and on Fergusen's and the big Dutchman's pension and sick lists to be got rid of to suckers like QPR list

I'm thinking that our biggest problem was the fact that we left it too late, needing to achieve too much in too little time .................. throw in some more average performances and you find us where we currently are.

Life is a big wheel ................. we are currently hanging around the bottom of it, waiting for the slide down to the Championship, in order to start picking up the pieces, so we can start our accent back to the top.

Better days ahead, folks ................ we just need to stay strapped in for the ride. Don't get off just yet.

Wish we had more people with this kind of attitude on board:-

    Wycombe 2 Aldershot 1

    Wycombe player-manager Gareth Ainsworth:-

"An equaliser from Aldershot with all their fans, I think other teams would have crumbled. Not this Wycombe, not my Wycombe. I thought the second goal was outstanding, Matt McClure's little ball in was fantastic. I thought we could have had four or five goals today and I think it's slowly turning - I'm so proud of the boys. People are probably looking at things saying 'Wycombe have nothing to play for'. How wrong they are going to be because we have everything to play for."
