According to Espn. Not sure he's strong enough for the Pl, wouldn't cost much in today's market but at least he'd help the reserves avoid defeat against the likes of Donny.
I was very impressed with him in the second leg against Trencin. I swear I read that Trencin want something like £2M for him.
Isn't he on loan from Ajax Amsterdam? My memory's faded a bit now but I'm sure he was quite a handful in the 1st leg but poor in the 2nd. Maybe I have it backwards. Also it will be bullshit. We have enough wingers struggling to get games as it is and they're all better than him, we really don't need him, he just won't play.
We're loaning out a winger because he can't get a game. I doubt we'll be signing any winger for the foreseeable.
Agree with the second bit, we don't really need him now. Not to say we wouldn't if we changed our system. He isn't on loan from Ajax. He's a Trencin player, the club itself are an Ajax affiliate, so they'd probably have first rights on him, but other than that we would be buying him like any other player. If we did I could see us loaning him back, he's doing really, really well there. I didn't realise he's only 19, so he might actually be a decent prospect.
I just didn't think he was very good, seemed very Josh King-like. Bags of pace, very direct, liked to get forwards and run at people but isn't very talented with the ball, other than a few Stewartesque stopovers before running into a tackle. If I was taking anyone from Trencin it would be their holding midfield player who was excellent at breaking up our attacks in both games.
I thought that massive striker who scored for Trencin looked a handful - he was quite mobile too, which surprised me.
