The SLP are reporting that he is free to leave the club. Alarmingly, literally on a free.

Why would we not pursue a fee for someone who was linked with Celtic for a high six figure sum? Personally letting him go is a bad decision as he must be one of the best understudies in the league.

Is this being done to fit Gomez in the match day squads? Or does RD have somebody lined up?

In the times of FFP, can we really afford to let someone like Morrison go on a free?

Are the SLP normally correct with their transfer in & out predictions...?

I wonder how much of this is off the back of Powell getting the Huddersfield gig...?

I for one certainly hope there's no truth in this. TBH and Bikey have been good thus far. However, it's a long season and I've absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Morro will get his chance.

I wouldn't be against a loan move for Morro to keep him ticking over. Providing there was a call back clause in any such agreement.

Rich Cawley gets a tough ride but I think he's a decent journo. Interestingly he has strong relationships with the players, definitely more so than the higher ups, so wonder if he's got this from the horses mouth.

If true it still doesn't seem right. Morrison has just signed a new 2-year deal, and was a reliable performer all last season. I don't think TBH and Bikey are any better than Morro and Dervite, although I might be in a minority there. I don't remember us ever conceding 2 headers from set-pieces while he was playing, although we did also have Kermit then who did a job defending set-pieces.

I think that's more to do with BP switching to zonal marking. Can't stand it!

It is strange though. Especially seeming his contract situation played out for around a month, with both sides insisting they were eager to get it closed.

I sort of agree Forest. I don't believe TBH or Bikey are any better than Morro. However, I personally prefer the two of them to Dervite. Dervite was too hot and cold for my liking.

On his day great, off his game a complete liability.

For me a good CB is all about a consistent level of performance. Dervite simply wasn't consistent enough IMHO.

Cant see the point of letting Morro go. There is talk of us getting Danny Graham in on loan. We will still have to get another Centre half in.

I'd be happy with Danny graham, though the last two years haven't been brilliant for him he is definitely a step up from what we have.

Could this decision not have been made a week ago where we could have received money for him? Why did the club pursue him so much when his contract expired?
