Well, reading the report, let's make a compromise... he can have Rhodes. Or he can take his £500k and put it the same place as Huddersfield's record... Either way, 500k wouldn't buy Morrison's left foot. With any of these offers, the board will weigh up the benefit of the sale compared with the loss of the asset and the risk to promotion... in no world is 500k suitable compensation. Ain't gonna happen.
He wasn't there "for" Morrison, he was there for Rhodes. Can't doubt he would have been impressed, but I think it's a journalist seeing Lennon there and simply linking him with the best player on the pitch that night.
