Deserved, most likely. No one mention a curse. Let's only see this as a positive. Many more good performances to come.
I like those training tops. Can you get them in the Club shop or is it still trying to shift those Ji Sun Park t-shirts??
He certainly has the skill, to enable to win the play-offs. But like most players of his immense and skill, there are frailties, which is what has hampered his career, so far. But its a team game, and however bizarre it may sound, I personally believe our squad needs another season in the championship, to consolidate. It is rare for a team to bounce straight back up, and while the first half of the season I thought we could do it, the run we have been on since the new year, accentuated by injuries to key players, has set us back. We have a core group that could sustain us in the EPL, its just not all there, currently.
We need the money. End of. Even if it is just one season in the PL and another humiliating relegation. (As long as the board have REALLY learned from their mistakes and don't buy half a ton of ****e with it). Think of it as a cash injection. Also the parachute payments will start from scratch again.
I think he's the kind of player that will get a massive boost of confidence from this. I get the impression he's the kind of player who thrives off recognition
So to cover the mistakes of the past, we are forced to make the same mistake, to ensure ...... ?????? Perhaps lady luck smiles on us ??
With his kind of personality, winning this prize may very well spur him on to bigger and better things. A lot of these type of guys wear there heart on their sleeves, so if by winning this, let's hope he continues to move forward. Go you good thing!
Personally thought the Bournemouth boys would win both awards but he's been an inspired signing from Redknapp (he's bound to get one right, eh?) I imagine you're licking your chops at the thought of Austin returning in time to join him for the play-offs? What of Matty Phillips as well? Honestly think this'll be the best playoff season in terms of strength of the clubs (can see anyone from 3rd to 8th winning it) but it'll do well to beat the drama of last season's Good luck boys, but please don't win tomorrow
best player in the league by a cou mile..even the LCFC boys can see that So lucky they aint in this play off..they wouldnt make it...!
