Apparently he posted that's what he's been valued at but since took it down. I wasn't bothered about signing him but we aren't going to get another player like that for that type of money. Snap him up.
He lost his place in our championship squad by turning invisible. I'm not sure about him as he has a bad attitude as well.
There's no place for him when playing two up front, I hope we don't do that too often in the PL so a spot opens up for him. He cannot play in a 4 man midfield.
His initial form was sparkling and, even though he faded after that, he must be worth a punt at that price. He's young with a lot of promise. Harry will now know about his attitude, good or bad and I'd trust Harry's judgement on that aspect.
The squad's been widely praised for it's attitude, yet you're picking out the one exception. I wonder why... BAE was a sensible loan, he's a very good LB. It was always worth a shot, and for a while he did well for us. Although his performances tailed off, I'd still say we got enough out of him for it to have been a successful move.
That's the only problem, the attitude. He could be worth £20m in two years time if he gets his head straight. If he did have his head straight, he'd be playing for a top 5 team already.
The heir to Adel. Lets do it. Will be boring on here otherwise. Who do we think we are? 1 nil to the Arsenal? No we covet the chaos. Its a yes for me
This. Only Harry knows whether he can be managed or not. He had no problems getting shot of Taarabt because of a bad attitude so he won't sign this guy if he's an asshole aswell.
The attitude for the play off games was exemplary. The attitude at other times of the season was variable eg Forest away. I watched Austin and Dunne clashing BAE on separate occasions, he's the only player I've seen his own team mates visibly angry with this season. I don't like Redknapp but he's a good enough manager for us for the time being. The sun does not shine out of his arse though, he makes mistakes just like the rest of us. Having 4 left backs and barely playing the best one is one of them.
I agree with your judgement here. It's a fair price for an unproven, but genuinely talented player. On the field he will be a real talent if harnessed correctly. Off the field, he appears to make some odd choices; but there's not a huge deal that can be done about that. I would buddy him up with Joey Barton - as seemed to be the strategy when he first arrived.
My thoughts exactly. The Harry-haters keep on bringing up Ekotto as if every single player a Manager brings in is going to work out. Ekotto did well for Redknapp at Spurs and he trusted him to help him out at QPR. The player let him down and Harry dropped him. I wonder was every single one of Sir Alex' signings bang on the money?
