How predictable was it that there would be some trouble at Upton Park last night.

The morons, about 0.05% of West Ham fans, get all the attention and the football becomes second best in the news.

No wonder many of the Rugby fans who now come to Ashton Gate, repeatedly tell me that they will not set foot anywhere near the stadium on a football match day. Sometimes I despair that we've learnt anything about behaviour since we left the caves many thousands of years ago.

I would have thought that you would say to them Cidered that in your experience incidents like that are now very rare at Ashton Gate if not totally eradicated??

The nearest I have seen to a fight at Ashton Gate recently was at last years Rugby play off final with Worcester when a fan shouted out on Hensons penalty kick..

I entirely agree with you but a smashed window on a team's coach on national TV still make more waves than several years of so little trouble at our stadium. It's the fact that it happens at all is the problem. Football still has the lunatic element of support, maybe even less than the 0.05% that I just plucked from thin air, but 100% more than at a rugby match.

But are we tarring everyone with the same brush? There are people who post on here that do that and that's how Hillsboro was able to be covered up, people who don't have real facts assuming things! a single incident in London should not reflect on the rest of us!

I know it should not but the bad news always makes bigger headlines than the good.

Didn't some of our own home-bred morons attack the Millwall bus carrying families and set fire to it a few years back?

There's always nutters at every club. Unfortunately some clubs have a larger proportion of nutters including us, Rovers, Millwall, Leeds and West ham. Plus quite a few others

Why do everyone hate Man.United, is it because they are Englands most successful football club, it doesn't really make sense...but then if your the best you will get dispised in this wierd world we live in. Come on United win the F A Cup & shut the haters up.

Nothing frustrates me more than a ****ing whinging armchair fan.

Would rather see a local kid in a rovers shirt than Man U, Chelsea etc.
