Morning all. Such pressure Elland. Just thinking how different the mood could have been this week only for a couple of stupid moments last Saturday. A glaring miss and penalty not given. Two promising signings in and White rightly moved on. Surely Yeovil is the ideal home game to get back to winning ways?

    Morning guys

Eire I think this weekend is last chance saloon for our team. New players bedded in, new tactics employed a bit of luck and a thumping 4-o win sees us playing catch-up. If we get beat or a crap draw then season over for us as we'll be battling the lower end teams to try and get to 15th without slipping into trouble. :emoticon-0149-no:

What will you do then GFH?

Sorry to say this but don't get despondent yet Why/ because BM when manager at Reading were in a much worse position than this and yet won promotion secondly Crystal P were bottom ay this stage when Ian Dowie was in charge and won promotion I believe we are getting there and I wish we could get Dale Jennings on loan now I saw Flitcroft come out yesterday and say he wouldn't let him go that means in football parly he will and is looking to draw interest remember Barnsley beat off Town and us for him they cant afford to do this and he knows it
    Good Morning by the way

Morning Doc, morning everyone else. Think you've got it spot on Doc. Even if Yeovil park a bus, we should be able to use Smith's obvious advantages to go over the top of the "bus" and for him/the team to capitalise. That said, didn't they have a half decent result last weekend? If so, maybe they'll come and play a bit. Either way, we need to win and win well. Even if it ends up only 1 or 2-0, as long as we're continuing to create plenty of chances, that will help. Part of the problem last season ad to a degree at the start of this season was that we weren't creating too many chances.

Anyone who think this team is capable of going on a run and getting promotion or even the play offs, are either blind or don't watch us.

Has long has we're building, improving, I'll be happy

    Mike

I watched Jennings in the under 21s against us other day and he was very average imo he looked unfit and overweight.

classic case of the grass isn't always greener for that lad, Bayern Munich could have really ruined his career.

reminds me of my mate, a few year ago he did kick ups all through half time in the middle of elland road if anyone remembers?

he went to play for Valencia and quite football totally after 18 months and has never played since, and that kid was special.

Can anyone remember the last run we went on? I think it was the -15 season wasn't it. Anyway if I can't remember then its been too long and LIW is right when he says we won't be going on one anytime soon.

Afraid so and to be honest we had a nice looking half dozen fixtures starting with the wallies where we could easily have put together a worthwhile run. Another six points and we'd be up in the playoffs. But as others have pointed out, that would be a totally false position. This is a mid table team at best. To improve it will require a lot of cash or a lot of patience. Likely it'll be the latter

You told me last month a trip to the Wallies was the ideal match to get back to winning ways <doh>

Leeds 0-2 Yeovil can see it happening <laugh>

Thanks for your update I really liked the lad when he played at Tranmere I know he is on a very good wage with Barnsley because we and town were after him .At Bayern he was kept out of the team with Robbens and Ribery they would keep Mathews out and finney
