Morning All, Having brushed aside the likes of Luton Town, Blackburn and Villa, the mighty Millwall have made it to the semi final of the FA Cup. I'm sure we all want to congratulate them on reaching the semi's.... We are expecting a few representatives from their official Not606 branch to say a few words later. (and I did say a few words) Leeds may be without Lees, Morison and McCormack for the Yorkshire derby v Huddersfield on Saturday. Results of scans will determine the extent of the injuries to Morison and Lees, whilst McCormack received a bang to his head during their 1-1 draw with Posh. Drury played his first game since January yesterday in a reserves match v Coventry, which United won 3-0. I didn't know this but he had an ankle injury. I cannot see him playing for us again, or at least in the starting XI. If Beckford starts for Huddersfield on Saturday, what kind of reception do we think he will get, and why?
Morning all-cant see past one of the bigger sides left in the FA cup. Wigan and Millwall havent got a hope of winning it, but hopefully they give it a good go. My dislike of Millwall is greatly outweighed by my hatred of ManUre so I would be a Wallie for the day should that match happen! Shame about Drury-never really happened for him, and as Elland says, probably wont play again provided Warnock stays fit. Beckford had his faults, and I remember them all too well, but ultimately he did alright by us in the dark days of league 1. He needed us at the same time as we needed him though. I never say a bad word against him, as a thankyou for that Bristol Rovers moment!
Really well said Milky. Beckford will always have a special place in my heart, not just for scoring the winner but the way her acted upon the final whistle. Kissa's reaction was amazing to see too... Can't find the youtube clip...
Morning ell A mixed one I'd imagine as he thinks he's better than what he is and always has done, the tosser! Does he go missing at ER for whatever opposition he's with like he always does at the Den?
Morning all Becks will get a great reception 'he's Leeds and he knows he is' he will spend most of the game clapping the Leeds fans! If his gaffer has any sense he wont play him. Didnt beckford say he would never score past us? I know he wants a move back, and even with all his faults/baggage I would take him
Enough Millwall nonsense. http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20130314/leeds-v-hudds-its-the-walking-wounded_2247585_3109018 So we have 7 Injury doubts for Saturday, why do we start with the same team every match and never make any subs, Byram is 19 and must be absolutely wrecked he hasnt missed a game yet. 'Neil Warnock reported no less than seven doubts ahead of the game with Paddy Kenny, David Norris, Michael Tonge, and Sam Byram joining Steve Morison (calf), Tom Lees (hip) and Ross McCormack (head) in the treatment room.'
Shouldnt be too long now till the rulers at the club start unsettling Byram by throwing a few criticisms around, get him ready for the summer sales. Fans can do the usual, same as with Becchio and the rest, claim they were never that good and his habeen replacement is far better despite not having kicked a ball anywhere in 18 months. Perhaps they'll just keep playing him till hes knackered and puts in a few average performances
I heard Austin can do a job there and I wouldnt want to move Warnock. Although its not a bad shout at all!
