Morning all. Doncaster away tomorrow. We're not all that hot on the road, especially against local teams over recent years. Is this a must win if we're going to have a push this year, or are we happpy with a point?

David Haigh's takeover could go through in just over a week - possibly a week on Monday to make it a year since GFH's buy out. Is anyone expecting this to have a huge impact on the January window? I'd be happy with more of the same to be honest.

As it's Friday, here's a pair of Tits for you. :bandit:

Morning all. Nice tits btw. The January activities of gfh will dictate our ambitions for this season. More of the same will be unlikely to get us into playoffs or through them as others will strengthen. Money will need to be spent and team strengthened, with a striker being an absolute must. We've got to start beating the likes of Donny otherwise we'll be hovering around seventh or eight place all season. I'm cautiously optimistic though even this early in the morning

Forgot to mention the Diouf setup. McD confirming he has personal issues and is not training with McD blessing. I'm going to be cold hearted here, but we cannot afford passengers. He has given us nothing since McD arrived and should be given the door in January. At his age, months of not playing or training, means only one thing in my books, he's finished. His wage would pay a decent forward

Morning all. Not sure when Diouff's contract is up. But I would want him leaving until it is. He still has more class and experience about him than anyone else. Were we to make the playoffs, even half fit, he'd be just what we need in the 2nd half of the 2nd game to shut out a game and hold on to a lead, or make the telling pass for Ross to knock in from close range.

A fully fit Diouf yes but this guy isn't training air capable of playing and hasn't done since April, nine months ago. We don't have the luxury of pampering players on the off chance we might need to close up shop in last few minutes of a play off semi or final. Im not even convinced theres a place for a fully fit Diouf in our setup anymore and believe McD wants rid asap but keeping his cards close to his chest

You might be right Eire. But Diouf, Murphy or Mowatt to win us the play off? I'd still plump for Diouf this season. 14/15? Different story.

    Heres McD quote on Dioufy
"I’ve got no problem with him but from my point of view, you have to be training don’t you? You have to be involved and around the place. That’s nothing to do with the personal side. It’s all about the professional side. It’s very straightforward."
Thats pretty clear with his contract up in the summer, hell be out on his ear. It would take him weeks to get up to match fitness even if he was training which he's not.
With money available, we can get much better on a similar wage I believe Boggers

    Agree Eire <ok>

My take on it is Dioufy has been told to keep sharp but wont be playing (contract pay out due?) as theres a move lined up for him. I dont think we will see Doiuf in a Leeds shirt again and expect him to go for one last pay day in the UAE or the USA or somewhere lower standard with a high wage.

    Morning all <ok>

Seems we are paying Dioufy to go to funerals lately.
