We are all poised for some big announcements...come on Uncle Ken dont let us down!!....when i read his interview on the website it made me feel quite happy and confident that things are happening whereas some folk took it to be lies do you think there would ever come a point where there would be a fans uprising against Ken?...would it ever have any effect? Morning SWW, morning others joining. Let's just hope that the majority on here approve of whatever signings we get to hear about shortly. The negativity on here & the other site, whilst justified to a point, is starting to become irritating. Heaven only knows what will happen if a silly money offer comes in for one of the crown jewels & Papa Smurf accepts the offer. Some on here will be apoplectic with rage. But as I say, let's wait & see who actually comes in, especially as some deals going around at the moment seem very strange - £5m for who?
I think an uprising is rushing closer to be honest. I know you love the bloke but I cant stand him. I just think his association with our club is a hindrance and not a good thing.

Guys/gals Don't think the trouble will start until we know for a fact that nobody better than the players we lost have come in. Appreciate Boggers point of view, but surely even he's getting worried. Preston keeper knocked us back because of wages, so he'll bench warm elsewhre rather than get regular first team games, says everything to me. We need to hope that Clayton, Lees, White, Nunez, Parker, Bessone and Paddy step up to the plate, because I don't see anyone willing to walk over broken glass to play for us, as we are constantly told. I almost choked when I saw the ambition at Brighton when C M-Smith chose them over a Prem side, that says something doesn't it. Leicester have bought a great squad already, Forest, Hull, Ipswich, Portsmouth and then the 3 relegated sides will all finish way in front of us this season, as it stands right now. Grayson said yesterday that he was looking to improve on last years performance, which means at least 6th, and bates said he's going for promotion? well they need to pull their fingers out because as it stands we will be lucky to get mid-table
I agree with doc, we have to be seen to be getting better calibre. And uprising, it wont be letters I can already imagine he gets a few choice ones through the post as it is. Most probably a protest, cos I cant see people giving up there seat when they’ve paid the money. It’s a waste and it wont bother ken at all, a protest wouldn’t either really. I think we're hanging around waiting on the Prem squads to be sorted, which means he's looking at some loan players again. Eric should be playing in the Villa squad this time under McLeash, but just maybe could be back. Sanches Watt again anyone? I'm not expecting anything big or well known, just hoping for some quality and good controlled football, without resorting to hoofball. McCormack could be a good bet this season playing with Becchio, but we need to sort that woeful defence thats crippled us the last 2 seasons, and of course someone who can put his foot on the ball in the middle and be a stopper, because I'm not happy about another season of 4-5-1 at home
we`ve lost 3 potential signigns to prem clubs already so we are down to second on the list as it stands. I`d assume they were Westwood, Vaughan and one other. I think we have the nucleus of a good team again anyway. Clayton looked surprisingly good when I saw him at the back end of the season, plus we have the loanees of Nunez, Lees and White to come back in who now have good experience under their belts and have obvious quality alongside (Nunez and White in particular). These 3 and Clayton are like 4 new real squad additions in themselves. Then we also have Parker and Kissa back, again they are like 2 completely new signings as they did not feature last season. If we look at it this way we have actually increased the squad size without bringing anyone in, and there is some ability amongst that lot. Right, I`ve even bored myself, I`m off to knock one off over Una Stubbs.
If we had had kissa last season we would have been promoted in my opinion!!! there is not a lot wrong with a lot of the squad we already have...we just need to sure up defensively just cos others are spending a loada dosh dont mean they will do any better than us Judders x x x x x x
definatly Phil...was gutted to see we had no overseas player at the start of the campaign...is he kolpak or overseas??
Leics will do **** all, not enough time to gel that lot into a team. Sven will go halfway through season and they will be floundering in midtable.
