    Morning Everyone,

Lets start by analyzing yesterdays result at Blackpool, starting with the team selection.

Mowatt was rested in favour of Tonge, and Brown came in for the suspended Murphy. Peltier and Pugh continued to keep their starting positions in favour of Byram and Warnock.

Now a look at the team

    Kenny.
Liked to hoof it as deep as possible. Looked comfortable in goal. Couldn't really be blamed for the goal he conceded, and was probably unsighted.

    Pelts
Solid enough going forward bombing down the wings, though his final ball wasn't always great. Noticed a couple of times the Blackpool forwards trying to exploit down his wing. Great goal for somebody who's 5'10

    Lees
Didn't really notice much of him. Seemed to do OK

    Zeliukas
A rock in defence, a couple of successful last gasp challenges, was winning everything in the air. Surely our man of the man.

    Pearce
Solid, came close to scoring in the first half. Bit of hoof ball.

    Pugh
Bombed down the wing. Got a great cross on him. Set up our goal. Looks very lightweight, like he could be muscled off the ball

    Austin
A lot of running, a lot of heart, and a lot of strength. A bit more skill and composure will be needed (especially in front of goal) if we are to stand any chance of promotion

    Tonge
Does what it says on the tin. Good passer, got into good positions, but wouldn't write home about him.

    Brown
You have to love him, same as Tonge, dependable, tough and a lot of running.

    McCormack
Either he's in the groove or he isn't, yesterday just like Barnsley he was not in the groove. Got into decent positions, needs anotherstrike partner.

    Smith
Thought he was very good. Won almost everything in the air, plenty of knock downs and flick ons, which were collected more times then not by the Blackpool defense. Didn't see too much movement off the ball.

Don't think we saw any substitutions did we? With the likes of Warnock, Byram, Ariyibi, Poleon, Varney and Wootton, McDermott could have certainly mixed things up in the second half.

I think the difference between the teams yesterday was Ince, who had the skill to change the game. Blackpool did not look like scoring before that.

Brown seemed unable to pass forwards last night.

Considering the lack of game time both Brown and Tonge have had this season to play ninety minutes was crazy and both looked knackered by seventy minutes. This caused us pressure as they struggled to chase the ball.

Smith played well but also think he looked dead on his legs towards the end. Not happy with Mcdermotts failure to use any subs. We had the players available to change things up a bit, even if just for fresh legs.

Another 2-points dropped I'm afraid as I though we should have closed it out. Smith did seem dead on his legs and he had a great chance to pounce on a backpass but hardly moved towards the ball and Gilks got there before him. If he had have moved he would have easily got there before Gilks. Yes he won a bit in the air, but he also squandered a couple of chances. Ross wasn't at the races again, but we can't complain as he's been brilliant for us. On the whole the team did well and looked solid and Brown did a job.

I wonder what the hells happening with young Sam, is he fit or not? I can't complain about the manager but he rested Mowatt? or is he injured as well? No subs used even though he had enough on the bench to change things.

Morning all. Big frustration for me was last twenty minutes when we were crying out for substitutions but nothing happened. I thought McD said his full squad would be used over Xmas?

Morning all, two points lost, we allowed Blackpool to come at us far too much. Too much hoofball when we had no pace in the side. Should have brought on Poleon, Ariyibi and Byram with their pace and gone at Blackpool for the last 20 minutes.

Latest news hot of the press just met my contact he tells me that the money will be in place in the next few days and that Nakki wells will be the first signing I believe this source and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas I did we entertained the family yesterday unfortunately I am unable to either eat or drink so its very frustrating seeing them all enjoying there fare and having plenty to quench their thirst!
Still hopefully it wont be long before the restriction heals up

Morning all - Tonge did nothing and Austin had a very poor game, headless chicken sprung to mind.

Brown, I hate watching him as I always feel he is on the verge of a sending off.

I still do not feel Smith is worthy of a starting place although he is getting better.

I still can't believe Pugh and Peltier are keeping Byram and Warnock out of the team, I am not saying they don't deserve their spots but who would have believed that at the start of the season.

Very much looking forward to the new signings BUT - I have a feeling they are not going to be the big signings I was hoping and wishing for but we shall see...

Morning all. Think Forest looked a level above us against QPR, we'll need to raise our game to get anything on Sunday. We're capable of it, but we'd need Murphy back and Ross & Rudi on song to give us a chance to craft something from the centre of the park rather than hoofing it long. Any word on the takeover going through? No point in hoping for signings on 1st Jan if the deal hasn't happened.

Morning all. I think the main reason Smith did't come off for Poleon or someone else was that he was doing a decent job in our box as well as theirs. Still think BMD should have brought Byram on to add a bit down the right. One thing's for sure, we'll have to work a lot harder and create plenty more when we play Florist.

Good points hemase and welcome to the mad house! <ok>

Glad you had a good one Leeds60 and im sure your be back on form soon buddy <cheers>

Agree with everyone regarding the subs. I know McDermott looks at the conditions and probably wanted the more hardened battlers out there, hence Brown and Tonge coming back in to add a bit more steel.

The ref was terrible and Blackpool should have gone down to 10 men 20 minutes earlier.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Byram and Warnock starting against Forest, Murphy back after a suspension and Mowatt back in to replace Tonge and that is 4 fresh players in key area's for us

Strange many were valuing Byram at 8m six months ago and fretting about him being sold. Given his contribution to date, I'd have no problem with him being sold in January for that price if we're not going to get more out of him. Something strange about his lack of appearances lately given he said a month ago in the yep, his injury had fully cleared up
