    Good Morning Everyone,

Just to let you know in advance, jaytab is recieving a perminant ban, that should keep him away (until he starts up again under a different user)
POLICE chiefs in West Yorkshire are today facing up to the prospect of making a £1m payout to Leeds United following their High Court defeat by the club reports the YEP. Does that mean that Leeds Utd can use that money, if so, how should it be spent?

Warnock has come out and said that he wants EIGHT MORE PLAYERS....<yikes> With the dead wood we are still carrying, we would have the largest squad in the league. Whether the takeover happens or not, surely Bates cannot stop Warnock in mid flow, as, if Colin were to leave, we would be left with 6 or so players that the next Manager would probably not want. If we think over the last two or three pre seasons, and the lack of activity we have had in the transfer market, we have made around the same amount of signings so far this pre season as we had over the last two or three put together. The other question that needs to be asked, What has happened to the Gradel, Howson, Woods/Tiowo, Schmeichel and Delph monies? Do we assume that money has been written off?

Has anyone changed there minds about a season ticket this forthcoming season???

Any takeover news, you should hear it first on Not606....

Morning Elland - I think he made the 8 more players comment before we confirmed Gray, Ashdown, Austin and Varney? I might be wrong there but if not then we are looking at 4 more to follow. My preference would be another CB to challenge Lees, a RB a pacey winger and I would say another striker but only if McCormack is set to leave.

I think I said somewhere else that I laughed off the suggestion that the court case might have been holding up the official T/O now with £1M to be returned I am not so sure. Isn't the figure a total over the last three seasons? Either way it makes our profit/loss book and future expenditure look a whole lot different.

As long as they have some pace and can defend better than the players who tried to cover that position last season <ok>... If Peltier joins he will be the third worst kept secret behind Kenny and Varney but looking at realistic availability I can't see us finding a much better RB.

I had become really sold on the idea of Austin joining and I am glad we got him, just hope he lives up to expectations and I am growing more and more hopeful that the guy Simon mentioned joins - David Templeton. The only concern would be that he is a winger and we already have White, Rogers, Varney and Snoddy who can fill the role. I don't know if the Templeton guy plays right or left side, if right then again it could mean Snoddy moving more central as an attacking midfielder.

I guess all shal be revealed when the next 3? are announced....

Morning all. I know that in Warnock we trust, but I can't believe he seriously wants another 8 more. I think Ristac has it right. We've got 4 of those. Given who else we've currently got, I really don't see the need for more than 1 or two further additions at best. Even then I think there will be a lot let go before the start of the season. A 30 man squad is just too large, even if you do allow for a bit of rotation, as well as covering injuries & suspensions.

Surely transfer listed players cannot be good for any dressing room atmosphere - I wonder what kind of budget the new owners have? Would it be worth cancelling the contracts of those who nobody seems to want and drawing a line under it all before the new season starts.

I wonder if the club will attempt to arrange any new friendlies with so many new faces arriving later than would have initially been expected?

They should arrange a friendly v Millwall, we could meet up with TC, Mighty, Steve etc, though we would have to be on best behaviour not to wind em up when we stick 5 past em.

Only 5 so you wouldn't play with a first team 11 you would give the youngsters and fringe players a chance?

What about NOT606 home & away 5-a-side matches, followed by a dry sherry or two?

Play 'em on neutral territory. Nice pitch around the Stratford area of East Ldn. Plenty of security around just in case! The pitch needs testing anyway. So why not?

There's a bit of a growing tide of hints on Snoddy. With all these new incomers, who knows? He just might stay afterall.

Sorry Boggers, Twitter has just erupted with the story that LUFC have accepted the Norwich bid & that Snoddy is on his way to Norwich for talks.

Hope it's bullshine, but will not be surprised.

Sky Sports understands Robert Snodgrass is on his way to Carrow Road to hold talks with Norwich City. We'll have more on this story shortly.

It might be that Warnock had decided to sell and felt he didn't want to sour the takeover news followed with negativity over Snodgrass. Bit of a **** sandwich, flurry of activity the other day with players arriving, Snoddy off today so maybe some decent news to follow shortly.

I reckon the Wallies could probably name more players in our squad than they could name in their own.

It's a weird state of affairs, this connexion they all seem to have with our club. I mean, there's only 200 miles between us. And they still use wheelbarrows for transporting their kids to school!

Must be a lot of Leeds shirts bought down in the East End

Really thought that Snoddy would stay. But they've now got (assuming the Snoddy thing actually happens) a very good midfield - Howson, Bradders, & now probably Snoddy.

It's just that it's so quiet on our board...looks like Kenny's just about wrapped up the pre-season business and we are settling in to our pre-season routine - no fireworks - no uncertainty we know who our Chaiman and manager are .....two things to watch out for though....will Trotter go and is the grass growing OK on the new pitch......so it's easy to see why we visit this site - 'all the weepin and the wailin' just makes us Wallies cry with delight....another pimms TC?
