First Leeds player may depart shortly with Nunez expecting to sign for League 1 Donny. I must admit, I thought Nunez was better than that and would go to another championship side...

Grayson has come out and said that he is not interested in any Leeds cast off's. He should be made to sign Paynter Rachubka and AOB. He signed em in the first place....

Over the last couple of years Alan Smith has been playing (whilst at Newcastle) as a holding midfielder, as a kind of a David Batty role. Could he do a job for us, on a 2 year contract??

Who has, or is going to renew there season ticket, how much are they???

Dilema time
Theoretically, if a prem team came in with eight million for Snodds, and we knew the money would get reinvested in the team, should we accept it?

Warnock says he had to offer Robert Snodgrass a top rate deal after seeing some of his teammates leave for top-flight football.Snodgrass has been the Leeds captain since Neil Warnock took charge in February and the Leeds boss is hoping to build his side around Snodgrass next season. The Scottish international has one year remaining on his current Leeds contract and Warnock disclosed recently that he had offered him a deal to make him the highest paid player at Elland Road. Warnock feels it was a deal he had to offer Snodgrass if he is to have any chance of holding onto him this summer.Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I think he is a special player at Leeds at the moment and he has been here a long time and seen a lot of his team mates depart. I felt straight away that we would have to offer him a top rate deal."The Leeds boss recently said that he would ensure that Snodgrass would be in the Premier League by the end of next season either with Leeds or with another club and he wants the player to commit himself to Leeds for twelve months. "I have asked him to commit himself to Leeds for twelve months, that is all I have asked him to do and I am still optimistic,"added Warnock.

Morning Elland, morning all. £8m for Snoddy, the club would have to accept. It would be too good a deal to turn down. More to the point, there is no way Warnock would stay if the £8m, or at most of it, wasn't then available to re-invest.

On Smith, yes if he's still got the legs he could certainly do a job. Whether some of our meatheads could cope with him comig back is another story.

On Nunez, I think Donny would get a bargain if they got Nunez on a free. If he gets regular footy in a league below his natural abilities, he should really shine. Me thinks we could live to regret letting him go, but only time will tell.

Morning, If an offer of 8 million came in for Snoddy I'd definitely accept it. Get 4/5 quality players with the money. I've said before as much as I detest Diouf,I think he would be brilliant for us and can certainly do a job at this level

Diouff mybe a class act, but he's so not a player I'd like to see in our team, I'd rather stay in the championship an extra season than have such a scumbag in our team. Nevermind what effect he would have in the dressing room, a reputation for spitting at fellow professionals is the 2nd worst thing you can do behind inflicting career ending injuries

Firstly I really doubt the £8m would be invested, and even if it was I'm really not sure how much we would gain in relation to what we would lose. We would lose our best player and be left with money that wouldn't guarantee a significantly strengthened squad anyway. I've said before, Diouf would have a detrimental effect on the team with his antics, not a presence we need around the dressing room, and he's really not good enough to justify that.

I know pace isn't everything and Snoddy lacks that making him not worth £8 million - I would not be happy if we were in the premier league and signed a championship player with no pace for that amount of cash so YES for sure we would need to sell him. IF the money got invested back into the team can you imagine the type of players we could suddenly go for: Rhodes, Mills, Bamba, Jamie Vardy, James Chester, oh the list of possibles could go on and on.

Nunez - Good for him and good for Doncaster, I can't remember is he under contract, is a fee involved?

Good luck to Nunez, he likes scoring at the Keepmoat.

As for Snodgrass with 1 year left on his contract I would take 4 million for him.

Remember we could do a lot with 4 million if it was re-invested.

I doubt there's an if about it being reinvested. We're Warnock's final club allegedly. He's got plenty of sides promoted in the past. He's accepted working with Bates. Why would colin put up with Papa Smurf bullsh£t over whether or not to reinvest money from the sale of Snoddy?

It wouldn't get reinvested. People are placing far too much trust in Warnock's ability to stand up to Bates. As Marko has repeatedly said, Warnock has already started to sound a lot like Bates. We wouldn't get enough quality for £4m to justify selling our best player.

Nunez to Donny - as a season long loan absolutely.....just letting him go....not great. Snods will go for around £2m....£3m at an absolute push as he only has a year left on his contract. His new deal if he signs will be four years with clause to move to a Prem team if Leeds fail to get promoted. Diouf is rancid and must not come to Leeds. Smith is toast and will probably go into coaching or settle for a beach in the Bahamas. Let's see what the picture is at the end of May. As for Grayson, fully understand why his chairman won't let him sign any of his Leeds cast offs....seriously, even a blind man can see that Paynter, AOB, Rachubka, Bruce, Connolly etc are just plain pants!!

<yikes> <yikes> <yikes> Leicester City have placed a £5m price-tag on former Whites 'keeper Kasper Schmeichel.[h=3]Spurs and Bundesliga side Schalke are both planning summer moves for the Foxes keeper.[/h]
Schmeichel’s form has been so impressive for the Championship club that he is in the running for Denmark’s Euro 2012 squad. <yikes> <yikes> <yikes>

Striker Davide Somma is expected to be fit for the start of pre-season and will return to the training pitch with a vote of confidence from the club’s assistant manager, Mick Jones.
The South African international appears to be winning his battle against the knee injury which required two operations and forced him to miss the whole of this season.
Somma suffered cruciate ligament damage in the early stages of Leeds’ last pre-season programme and saw his hopes of an on-schedule comeback ended when United sent him for a fresh bout of surgery in March.
