    Good Morning All,

Leigh Bromby is facing a year on the sidelines after suffering from a ruptured patellar tendon he sustained in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Cardiff City. Bromby actually passed out due to the pain, as peramedics attended him. Two quick points. Bromby is now 31, do we expect to see him ever play for us again. Second point, Bromby (when streetchered off) got an ovation from both set of fans. Well done Cardiff City <applause>....

So, a 1-1 draw away at Carfiff, thoughts everyone?

Newcastle are after Aiden White. They have successfully gone after so many of our players in the past 20 years, Bastards....

There's an article elsewhere saying that stewarding at ER has gone done the toilet, thoughts?

Who is feeling optermistic about Summer transfer targets?

Morning Elland. On Bromby, feel sorry for the lad, but given his age, the type of injury & likely rehab time, me thinks we've just seen the last of him in a Leeds shirt. Pity as I think he could have filled a role or two next season (no wumming about working in the tea stand please). Well done Cardiff fans for their applause as he went off. Much appreciated by all.

On the 1-1 draw, a few missed chances, which just about sums up our season. So near yet so far away in reality.

On Aidy, given that Newcastle are within a hares breath of champions league footy, if they were to make a decent offer (3 to 4m for example), it would be very difficult for the club to refuse. He's young, will improve, & has pace to burn. What more could a PL side want?

On transfers, I'll reserve judgement for a few weeks. But I don't think we'll be disappointed. As Warnock says, it's not all about money. Its the type of player you bring in.

    Morning Boggers,

Agree with most of your points. I was reading some old posts on the Leeds board from the beginning of the season, and a very interesting article about how much the squad is worth. We valued Gradel at 6m, Howson at 3 / 4m. In reality, we got 1.75m for Gradel, and probably 1m plus add ons for Howson. If in reality we could get 4m for White, as long as we could reinvest the money in players, I'd take that.

Yes, I think 3 to 4m for White would be worth having at the moment. I also think that Warnock being a different animal than Grayson wouldn't tolerate Bates not allowing Warnock to use 3 to 4m to reinvest in the squad. I also think Warnock would probably make slightly better use of such funds than was sometimes the case with Grayson. That said, no manager has a crystal ball, & even old red nose has had his occaisional failures.

Dont think we would even get anywhere near 1.5 mill for White. Better off keeping him and hope he can find a regular position and improve on it.

Morning Bucks, morning Steve....At 1.5m, not worth selling White. How much do you reckon we'd get for Millwall Steve???

Morning all, would love to keep white, but as long as snoddy stays and we bring in some decent talent then I will be happy.

    Happy St.Georges day.

Even Bates would turn his nose up at £1.5m, unless there was any prospect of him leaving for free. Given his age & the fact that he's got the one thing few others have (pace), why would we only get £1.5m for him?

Happy St. Georges Day one & all. Steve, it wasn't you scaring local 'Wall fans in our pub in Bromley on Saturday was it? Comments in the bar yesterday afternoon were that a load of St Georges Day fans on a pub crawl, possibly 'Wall fans, came into our pub & definitely worried the natives, even the local hammers & 'Wall fans.

Talking of fans, I hear part of the reason Bromby was applauded off by Cardiff fans as well as ours is that our lot remained suitably respectful during the minute's applause at the start of the game. So nice to read that we're all playing nicely together now. Must be the end of the season!!!

I'd take 1.5m for white in honesty. As long as its reinvested, although I don't rate him anywhere near what some do on this site.

He would leave for compensation so we wouldnt set the price. 1.5 mil is generous considering hes inexpereinced, nowhere near the finished article and still not sure what position suits him. Gradel only went for a few grand more & he was the real deal!

White has pace and promise, but thats all I have seen of him to be fair. Like him better as left back if im honest.

White's out of contract in the summer so the fee would be decided by tribunal. I'd like him to stay, decent at LB and L/RW and will only improve.
