Day and a half til Millwal come chugging into Town, atm I'm more concerned by our home form then our away form, we need to make ER into a fortress again Its surprising to see how many of our players have played for both us and Wall :- Noel Whelan Graham Stack Darran Huckerby Jermaine Wright Stephen McPhail Jody Morris David Livermore Shane Lowry If we can show half the form that we did on Tuesday, we'll give some distance between us and lesta. We seem to have been linked to a lot of players that we are thinking / trying to capture come the January transfer window. Is big Ken goin to dip his hands in his pockets? Song of the day, and I think you'll like this one. Morning mate I didnt know Whelan had a spell at the wall! I suppose you could put Dennis Wise in there as well but he didnt actually play for us, but the connection is still there. Also the Gary Speed suite opens on Saturday. Good on Bates for that one although the advertsing wrote itself & I am sure Speeds name will attract a few punters.
HAHAHAHA Elland that reminds me, Snoddy V Shane Lowry lmao for the first time this year Snoddy will be able to skin the oppositions left back without using any skill just pace
Be nice if White could have a ten minute spell against him as he often plays right wing (Out on loan & the U21's) to really get behind them
Mornin Bucks n YNBK, fair play to White on Tuesday night, when Reid sent him flyin, White got staight up as if tryin to convince the ref not to send Reid off. Wonder what Wise is doin now? White is probably one of the first names on our teamsheet now...
Can't remember if Wallace was quick or if he just looked that way cos he was so small. Never really looked quick on the ball though.
Wallace scored some blinders, he and Chappers were a fab partnership, though most of Chappers goals were headers, nobody better...
Chapman reminded me of Teddy Sheringham. Great footballing brain that didnt require to much effort. Made finding space look easy & deadly in the air Wallace had a fair bit of pace about him, watch the goal when he cut through the spurs defence at white hart lane!
he stole another one off the line from Speed in that game as well & almost lost his shorts whilst getting up in the net!
