    Good Morning All,

A bit of transfer news. In our emphatic 2-1 win over Chelsea yesterday, Leeds handed a trial to experienced goalkeeper Maik Taylor. He played well, and also saved a penalty. He was released recently from Birmingham, so is a free agent. He is 40 years old, but I reckon thats okay for a goalkeeper.

Monty Gimpel also started the match against Chelsea. He signed for Leeds in the summer after rejecting the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool. Its not going to be long til he is pushing for a first team place, but who will he replace.

White played yesterday for the Republic under 21 side, and scored a goal during there 2-0 win over Liechtenstein.

Morning. Still a decent keeper from what saw of him last season and surely has to be a better short term option as back up, then Rachukba. Hopefully this doesn't mean Lonergan is out for longer then initially thought.

I believe Gimpel is indeed a centre back.

Hes not the answer, too young and lightweight at the minute.

Gimpel's a great prospect, but isn't the immediate answer to our centre back issues.

I think our centre back issues aren't exactly centre back issues. They are pinned on the centre backs because they are the ones constantly left exposed to situations where they are bound to make errors. Don't get me wrong, they are still responsible for those errors, but the rest of the team should be providing better cover. It's down to arrangement, organisation and focus, rather than the skill level of the players. Problem in training.

Marko that what some Saints fans were telling me when I asked them for Richardson and Harding back. They said they are no better than what we got, baut they are better organised.
