Reports on Newsnow in last few minutes have him in advanced talks with Spurs. No Morgan dont do it. Stay and be part of Rons revolution. If theres any truth in it then for me and Mrs Godders this would be the transfer that hurt the most!
Funnily enough I think he'd be the easiest to replace. We have Wanyama and Cork, and there are tons of great CMs we could buy. Also his first PL season was better than his second. Still desperately want to keep him though.
Exactly just adds to the pain. Express reporting which I know isnt the most reliable. Perhaps if we all express our undying love on here he'll tell MP to go forth and multiply. (tries and fails to sound hopeful)
Well better advanced than stringing on for ages then leaving. Anyone who is going needs to be gone now so we can focus on next season's team rather than not knowing what positions we need to fill. Hope he stays though. Spurs plonkers will be on here soon to give their condolences.....twats.
It will be very disappointing if he does go, and all the more if it is Spurs (not even one of the really top teams, that Morgan is fully capable of playing for), but at least he has conducted himself with some decorum.
Hate Spurs ever since Hoddle (actually warmed to them under AVB) but still won't boo Morgan if he goes. Would prefer him at Arsenal but no way will Wenger pay our price especially if Bender is for same for £15m. Definitely time to cheer Jordie up and tell him he's coming to the prem.
He's our best player (even before Adam et al left) but as Joe says we have ready made replacements. If Wanyama starts performing to his potential he'll be better than Morgan ever was.
"While a fee has not yet been agreed, Spurs have reportedly already started discussing a contract with the 24-year-old." How the **** does that work? We haven't accepted a bid for him and there isn't even a figure on the table so how can they be discussing a contract? Plus he has made it clear that his ambition is to play in the UCL, so why Spurs? I believe and hope that this is bullshit. There was another story on that site reporting that Morgan Schneiderlin wanted the directors to "spend the kitty wisely" yet there wasn't a single quote and the article was two sentences long.
Because when journalists make things up nowadays, they don't even do enough research to ensure what they're making up is even possible.
Here is the article I was talking about. Look at that ****ing, piece of horse **** article... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...arns-Southampton-chiefs-to-spend-kitty-wisely
Also it happens a lot these days. Players tend to agree on a wage demands etc first before a fee is agreed.
That's great, but are you sure that "Plonkers" isn't sexist? I am going to edit the quote as well to remove all references. Thanks for the swift action.
