gutted abouthe result yesterday - rochdale were no where in the game and would have been lucky to get a point, let alone all 3 (which they somehow did).

however there were many positives - grant was fantastic with a brilliant goal, winfield looks a different player and denis oli was my man of the match, fantastic performance. scowen and lewis gave thier all as ever and andrade wasent too bad either.good to see another cameo from morias who possibly would have scored had he not have been bought down for the free kick (should have been a red card). we possibly could have had a penalty too, but our luck seems to be out at the moment

negatives? firstly , how we managed to lose.... first goal was poor defending, other was a lucky deflection. wood doesnt look settled at left back, and morgan put in **** all effort again, moaned at his team mates and was (rightly) subbed by gaz, but about 80 minutes too late by my reckoning

for northampton i would keep with the same team but take morgan out - many fans this week have been saying they want bull to **** off if he doesnt wanna play for the club, to me morgan is just as bad if not worse at times, he just couldnt care less. i would give logan a chance, i dont think hes been really given a fair go this season. unless of course, kuffours back

Cheers Jose. I gather Morgan can cause havoc in defences but, if he can't be bothered, I agree he shouldn't be on the pitch.

Yesterdays game gutted at the end. First game I have seen since Pompey away & it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be first 5-10mins I thought we were going to get hammered even before Rochdale scored they broke with 5 against 3 & should have been one up, again another good chance after they scored. After that we coped comfortably with anything they had until the huge deflection for their goal. We made chances but failed to put them away, corners as well we ought to be doing more with players like Johnson,Winfield & Oli. Grant has improved no end the few times I watched him last season he drifted out of games. But this year has Ainsworth given him more responsibity. The team did'nt look like one who struggled to even have a shot against Barnet & Aldershot.

Shows how much we miss the Beaver really. Oli shows commitment but is seriously lacking in front of goal. We had the better chances to take the lead and let them slip away. Story of our season maybe?
I think for all his petulance and sometimes lacklustre performances, Morgan is our only real player with quality and he feeds off the crowd as well. We need to back him and try to get the best out of him. He could be the answer to us avoiding relegation
