Morgan Amalfitano?

Never heard of him (and it's in the Fail).

 

Played all season on loan at west brom - scored a couple of wonder goals including one at Old Trafford which was the beginning of the end for one Rio Ferdinand

 

I see Iceman2 stalls over personal terms but then it is the Mail.

 

Amalfitano is a very strong player and in a position we are dire need of

He's hard working, knows where the goal is, and he'd be right at home with us.

At £2.5 million, it's a steal

 

Amalfitano looked decent enough on occasions last season for West Brom - he scored some important goals towards the end of the season that kept them up. I'm sure he could do a job for us if he's the "right sort"...

This Iceman has been haggling for weeks...surely the most glacial of transfers..

 

He's probably encased in ice - we'll dig him up in around 10 years when he's matured.
