Morecambe Shmorcecambe. I don't have a great deal of time, so it'll just be a brief stat comparison this time, as Town aim to end their hoodoo. We beat them at home earlier in the season, we beat Vale away and banished that ghost, and I might be going and I've only ever seen Town lose once. All bodes well.

correct me if i am wrong but were morecambe not one of L2's pacemakers with a mighty gd in the autumn. how the mighty are fallen, their last 5 home results were L bulls 0-1, w chelt 3-1, L daggers 1-2 d sarfend 1-1 and w maccs 1-0. ah yes i remember when we were in awe of the mighty gas winning away at morecambe with buckle in charge last autumn

morecambe are allegedly on the fringe of the play offs. i suspect with a gale behind them and a new moon they may just miss out.

i take shrews to win away 2-0 wright and wroe and att 3599. floreat salopia and happy cockleing

This is another must win for us - I predict 2-1 to Town with Collins and Morgan scoring to put us in the right frame of mind to tackle Port vale on Tuesday.

Don't know which morecambe team will turn up on sat either the one that beat high flying Cheltenham or Southend at home or the one which got beat by Hereford. Even though the play-offs are very slim jim will still be giving it his best shot until mathematically impossible to get the last play-off spot. We have just signed ex Tranmere & Carlisle utd Striker Craig Curran until the end of the season in which he will be wanting to impress with his current contract about to expire at Carlisle in the summer. With Ellison resting in midweek hopefully he will fully charged for this one. This league is up & down & anybody can beat anybody on the day as you lot have found out.

    Morecambe 1-1 Shrewsbury. Ellison

It's Morecombe and we don't play well at Morecombe! I can't make it but the York Hotel is having a real ale festival if any one is heading up.

I will be happy with a draw as you are a tough team to play. The weather could be a factor on who holds out especially if it is anything to go by yesterday & today.

Depending on planning permission we may have a food & ale house outside the ground which will be excellent for the away fans.

Recall Ainsworth. Always a mistake to loan him out.

Stick Collins on the wing then Morgan and Gornell up front.

I am with you, Kasule - recall the best crosser of the ball at the club and our most constructive player when he is on song - Ainsworth your time has come.

Told you that you would bounce back after Argyle and you didn't even need 11 players. There is a bit of tradition that to get promoted you have to be beaten by us although it is usually in one of our away matches. The last few seasons have seen us do this to a number of teams. You will be fine now so onwards and upwards.
